2. Cliffs of MoherLiscannor The Cliffs of Moher are sea cliffs located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland. They run for about 14 kilometres. At their southern end, they rise 120 metres above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag's Head, and, eight kilometres to the north, reach their maximum height of 214 metres just north of O'Brien's Tower, a round stone tower near the midpoint of the cliffs, built in 1835 by Sir Cornelius O'Brien, then continue at lower heights. The closest settlements are Liscannor and Doolin . From the cliffs, and from atop the tower, visitors can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, the Maumturks and Twelve Pins mountain ranges to the north in County Galway, and Loop Head to the south. Electric Picnic 2011 - A Quick Summary
*** WARNING: Contains flashing lights throughout I'm afraid ***
Remember: Change the 360p to 720p HD for better viewing.
This is a short video of our outing over the Electric Picnic 2011 weekend. It was awesome, loved every minute of it (except the Alan & Steve shouting at the main entrance).
A great time was had by all and I really recommend it to everyone, even if you only recognise a limited number of bands on the bill. It's not just music, in fact music is about 50% of the event. The other half of the event is the people, the comedy, the mindfield, the body & soul areas, the food and the craic!
The audio on the small camera is not that great so I kept the video to an atmospheric theme instead with a few audio bits here and there later in the video.
I hope it gives you a small taste of what it's like at this epic party!
Shot on location in Stradbally, Co. Laois, Ireland
