3. Savvino-Storozhevsky MonasteryZvenigorod The Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery is a Russian Orthodox monastery dedicated to the feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos. It is the preeminent landmark of Zvenigorod, a town 48 km west of Moscow. In 1398, Prince Yuri of Zvenigorod asked Savva, or Sabbas, one of the first disciples of Sergius of Radonezh, to come to his capital city and set up a monastic abode on the Storozhi Holm . St. Savva of Storozhi was interred in the white stone cathedral of the Virgin's Nativity in 1407. This diminutive, roughly hewn church still stands, although its present-day exquisite look is the result of a 1970s restoration campaign. Hi everyone, welcome to Moscow! I am standing here, on Malaya Dmitrovka street in the historic center of Moscow. And right behind me is the fabulous Golden Apple boutique hotel.
Just give you a hint where we are the Tverskaya street is just around the corner a lots of restaurants and bars and if you walk a long away this street you can get the Bolshoy Theatre, the Red Square, the Kremlen, all of it in ten-fifteen minutes reach. Now let’s go have a look what is Gold Apple looks like from the inside.
The Golden Apple Boutique Hotel is proud about its design and it is deserve a lot of credit. The hotel was located in 19 century, the historic building. And it was redecorated in 2004. The author of decorations and designer was the Canadian architect Raphael Shafir. Who had designed all premises in this hotel.
I can say now we are in the most unique room in this hotel. Some time ago in this building the famous Russian play writer Anton Chekhov stayed. And owner of Golden Apple Boutique Hotel decided to give a name Chekhov deluxe. And as you can see here we have a small decorate stage and seagull. So you can actually feel yourself a part of a Chekhov’s play.
All bathrooms in The Golden Apple Boutique Hotelare decorated with natural materials. So here we have marble, wood and floors with sea pebbles that actually massager feet. Wow! At The Golden Apple Boutique Hotel each floor has a unique design and color combination and it is also seeing in the rooms. For example in this room you can see red furniture and red lights, so you can be sure that you are staying on the Red floor.
