5. Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery Zvenigorod
The Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery is a Russian Orthodox monastery dedicated to the feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos. It is the preeminent landmark of Zvenigorod, a town 48 km west of Moscow. In 1398, Prince Yuri of Zvenigorod asked Savva, or Sabbas, one of the first disciples of Sergius of Radonezh, to come to his capital city and set up a monastic abode on the Storozhi Holm . St. Savva of Storozhi was interred in the white stone cathedral of the Virgin's Nativity in 1407. This diminutive, roughly hewn church still stands, although its present-day exquisite look is the result of a 1970s restoration campaign. ⁴ᴷ⁵⁰ Cycling Moscow: from Rostovskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay) to Frunzenskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay)

We ride from the Rostovskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay), through the First Truzhenikov Pereulok (Lane), after that we turn right to the Bol'shaya Pirogovskaya Ulitsa (Street) and ride through Novodevich'yego Ploshchad' (Square), Ulitsa 10-Letiya Oktyabrya (Street), Ulitsa Usacheva (Street), Khamovnicheskiy Val Ulitsa (Street), to Luzhnetskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay) and we ride till Frunzenskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay).

We begin our journey from the Bridge named Peshekhodnyy Most Bogdana Khmel'nitskogo and after that we ride through Rostovskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay), through Bol'shaya Pirogovskaya Ulitsa (Street) where we can see the Pirogov Monument, Sechenov Monument and a little later Novodevichy Convent. After that we turn to the Luzhnetskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay) where we can see cable car, and keep riding till Frunzenskaya Naberezhnaya (Quay). Where we go up to the Bridge named Pushkinskiy Most and we can see beautiful view of the Moscow River.

Мы проезжаем от Ростовской набережной через «Первый Переулок Тружеников», после чего поворачиваем направо на «Большую Пироговскую Улицу» и проезжаем через «Новодевичью Площадь», Улицу 10-летия Октября, Улицу Усачева (улица), Хамовнический Вал, до Лужнецкой Набережной и мы едем до Фрунзенской набережной.

Мы начинаем наше путешествие с моста Пешеходный Мост Богдана Хмельницкого, и затем едем через Ростовскую Набережную, через Большую Пироговскую Улицу, где мы можем видеть Памятник Пирогову, «Памятник Сеченову» и чуть позже «Новодевичий Монастырь». После этого мы поворачиваем к «Лужнецкой Набережной», где видим канатную дорогу, и продолжаем ехать до «Фрунзенской Набережной». Там, где мы поднимаемся на мосту «Пушкинский Мост», и видим прекрасный вид на реку Москву.
