Australia has been one of the top most livable countries for many years and City Sydney has been a most livable cities for that many years.
Sydney is a very diverse place, but I think in that diversity, in that difference is a great sense of strength, we all come together as Aussies and as Sydney-siders and I think that’s why so many people, almost 5 million of us, call this city home.

We are adding almost 90,000 people to our city every single year, and the 5 fastest growing areas in New South Wales are all located in Sydney.
Back 50 years ago Sydney had just hit 2 million people, we are going to finish next year at 5 million people.

Unterwegs in Sydney erkunden wir den Royal Nationalpark mit den berühmten Figure 8 Pools. Etwa 1 Stunde auswärts von Sydney besuchten wir die Fitzgerald Falls und genossen eine spektakuläre View. Der Lane Cove Nationalpark, welcher nur etwa 17km vom City Centre entfernt ist, beeindruckte uns mit seinen schönen Wanderwegen.
Zum Abschluss waren wir noch in Dover Heights und erlebten die wohl coolste View auf die Stadt. Des Weiteren waren wir auf dem Sydney Tower um die Stadt noch einmal von oben zu bewundern.
Es war eine schöne Zeit hier in Sydney!

On tour in Sydney we explored the Royal National Park with the famous Figure 8 pools. About 1 hour away from Sydney we visited the Fitzgerald Falls and enjoyed a spectacular view. The Lane Cove National Park, which is just 17km away from the City Centre impressed us with its beautiful hiking trails.
Finally, we were in Dover Heights and experienced the probably coolest view of the city. Furthermore, we were on the Sydney Tower to to admire the city again from above.
It was a nice time here in Sydney!

Bondi Beach, Sydney
Bondi Beach is a world famous beachside locality of Sydney. The closest ocean beach to the centre of Sydney, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney's beach lifestyle and is very popular with tourists, daytrippers, backpackers, residents and all Sydneysiders.
Bondi Beach is famous for its glistening ocean, pristine sands, reliable surf and seaside spirit. It's laid back coastal lifestyle, cafe culture, boutique shops and thriving, eclectic community is equally enticing.
Bondi has become a favourite of the barmy army of British tourists, who annually gather on its sands for a Southern Hemisphere Christmas in the sun. Bondi is home to numerous youth hostels with backpackers who congregate mainly in the summer months. Bondi Beach is a very welcoming and tolerant community; topless sunbathing is acceptable and gay and lesbian couples displaying affection can be seen.
See the crowds, the waves, the water, the sand, the sunbathers, the teenagers showing off, the tourists with long socks and shoes straight off the tour coach next to the skimpily clad sunbathers. It is all part of the Bondi Beach Scene. If you see past the crowds, the beach itself is actually naturally scenic, and there is an esplanade running along the beach front and along to the rocks either side.
There are often displays in the historic Bondi Pavilion. Usually free, it is worth a quick look around. Bondi is a food lover's delight. There are countless cafes and restaurants on the streets around the beach, many with great views. If you're looking for something quick and easy, there are kiosks on the beach, and a cafe in the pavilion with plenty of tables on the wide promenade. Unless you are planning a Saturday or Friday night out, there is usually no need to book in advance. Just walk around and find somewhere you like, or grab fish and chips and eat on the beach.
Don't confuse Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach. Getting to Bondi Junction may be the closest rail station to the beach but is still 3 km from it. Although there are direct buses from the city centre to the beach, you will save about 30 minutes by taking the train and bus as opposed to bus only. Unless you have a MyMulti period ticket (which is recommended), there are rail tickets to Bondi Beach which include the bus.

We hit Vegas and stay in one of the oldest establishments there, Circus Circus Casino. The RV park is in a great location at the end of the ‘strip’.
We take a 10 kilometre saunter along the strip and check out the sights and sounds.
We then continue on the last leg of Route 66 heading for the Santa Monica Pier, which marks the end of this incredible journey.

During the winter months, Britain is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and 10 hours behind Sydney. Western standard time is five hours behind.

Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
