We went to Taronga Zoo for Transdev Sydney Lightrail's Family Day today, Oct. 20, 2019 and we enjoyed it so much! This video vlog shows how we travelled from Sydney's Circular Quay using the Ferry to Taronga Zoo in Mosman. Also in the video are Barry's friends and colleagues who are all so friendly to us. We thank all the organisers of this wonderful and fun company family event.

Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo have a rich and varied history that dates back to 1884 when the first zoo in New South Wales opened in Sydney on a site known as Billy Goat's Swamp.
Taronga Zoo Sydney is the city zoo of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and is located on the shores of Sydney Harbour in the suburb of Mosman. It was officially opened on 7th October 1916. Its sister zoo, is the Taronga Western Plains Zoo located in Dubbo.
Divided into eight zoogeographic regions, the 28 hectare Taronga Zoo Sydney is home to over 4,000 animals of 350 species.
It is a wonderful day out, with plenty to see and do. The Zoo, is beautifully maintained and the animals are housed in lush surrounds replicating their natural habitats as close as possible.
