Clifton Gardens features an affluent residential area and is home to several beaches and wharves on Sydney Harbour. Clifton Gardens is also a popular fishing spot in summer. Species like the yellowtail kingfish, bonito and Australian salmon are caught frequently during summer months. In winter trevally can be caught quite regularly.

Clifton Gardens is probably our family’s favourite Harbour beach… right up there with Balmoral Beach for us.
The kids’ primary school Picnic Day has always been help at Clifton gardens too, and it’s a school holidays regular haunt.
Clifton Gardens Reserve has the lovely playground, plus a kiosk, so it’s a terrific destination at any time of the year.
The only downside to Clifton Gardens is the high cost of the large car park, it’s extortionate… but so handy.

I spent the morning at Clifton Gardens shooting some test footage on the 1DX MK II using the Cinestyle profile and grading it with Filmcovert. I filmed some of Clifton Garden's most popular activities such as diving, swimming, the wharf as well as the park areas.

Freediving under Clifton Gardens wharf | Part 1| Oceanchan
Welcome back to Oceanchan! This week we are freediving at Clifton Gardens, Sydney.
This place is incredible! The dive site is under a wharf, which provides shelter for a large number of marine life! There were too many things to see so this dive will be covered in two videos, this will be the first part with the second part released next week.
I saw eels, cuttlefish, bream and schooling fish at this site. Apparently this site is known for seahorses, but I wasn't able to spot any this time.

Contemporary harbour-view family sanctuary by idyllic Clifton Gardens

This is the wreck of a yacht that sank in Clifton Gardens, situated in Chowder Bay Sydney, Australia.
There usually a lot of macro life there and occasional one get spoiled by spotting an angular fish. highlights of this dive was spotting a yellow crested weed-fish, which is usually quite impossible to see among the seaweeds and plant life.
Few things spotted were, Letherjackets, weedfish, cuttlefish, Moray Eel and a few other critters.

Episode 15 | Mosman Walks!
Hello peoples!
How is everyone!?
Walking / Hiking is becoming a regular hobby of mine. I really couldn't tell you if it's because of the scenery or the fresh air. It's a close call either way.
Clifton Gardens, Chowder Bay Head, Mosman and whatever that trail walk was called is definitely going in my book of 'places to take/recommend to people who aren't from Sydney'.
This place is an absolute post card, so beautiful.
I didn't mention it in the video but we went to lunch afterwards at The Mews in Mosman. Link below, it's such an awesome little trendy cafe with delicious instragramable food.
Wish me luck with the sewing! I've been keen to get into sewing for some time (I like to think I've mastered knitting and I'm a little crochet'd out at the moment) and sewing seems like a really good next project & skill to learn.
