WATERFALL ROAD TRIP | Columbia River Gorge, Oregon
Multnomah Falls has been on my bucket list since I saw pictures of it years ago on Instagram. It is cooler in person than in pictures.
On this little road trip, we headed east through Washington past some very scenic overlooks. We crossed the Bridge of the Gods into Oregon and explain where the name came from. Then we checked out the waterfall area of the Columbia River Gorge, stopping at Horsetail Falls, Multnomah Falls, and Latourell Falls.
We didn't have the time to hike to Oneonta Falls. Next time!

Lake Tahoe Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia (4K)
Filled with over 39 trillion gallons of pure Sierra snowmelt and pushed a mile into the Californian and Nevada skies, Lake Tahoe is the USA’s largest alpine lake and one of the country’s oldest, year-round vacation playgrounds.
Lake Tahoe has forever drawn travellers to its shores, from the Native Americans who call this place Big Water, to the trappers, timber cutters and pioneers who followed.
When you’re ready for a little alpine magic, take the four-hour drive from San Francisco to the sunlit shores of Kings Beach. Set on Tahoe’s northern end, this beach was named after local card shark, Joe King, who used his winnings to develop some of the lake’s earliest lodgings. On the lake’s southern shore, is Pope Beach, where you’ll find another Tahoe institution, Camp Richardson.
From Pope Beach follow the bike path to the Taylor Creek Visitor Center. An open-air classroom for the entire family, the center features fabulous interpretative walks such as the Rainbow Trail.
Nearby, at DL Bliss State Park, follow the spectacular Rubicon Trail into neighboring Emerald Bay State Park. This park is home to the Eagle Falls Trail, a moderate two-mile hike that takes in some of the Sierra high country’s finest views.
When the ponderosa pines bend with the season’s first snow, Tahoe transforms into the nation’s favorite winter playground. Whether you’re looking for snow-capped peaks or crystal clear coves, places to bond with loved ones or pockets of pure solitude, The Lake in the Sky has it all.

Video Equipment
XP2 Quadcopter & SILK 3 Axis Brushless Gimbal both from
Sony NEX 5R with Sony 20mm
Editing Software
FCPX at 1080p 30p
Camera Settings:
I shot in standard mode on the 5T dropping the Contrast and Saturation to -3 and Sharpness to -1. I shot in AP setting F7.1 or F8 when ever possible, adjusting ISO with the intent of keeping my shutter speed over 125 recording at 1080p 60p.
Editing:
I bumped saturation 10-15% for most clips, adjusted contrast in shadows, highlights and mid-tones when needed. I then finished off by adding some sharpness to each clip.
I used a combination of FPV (first person view) and line of sight on my Quadcopter. The FPV I view on a monitor attached to my radio. You can also find this at XProHeli's website listed above.
I hope this video inspires your imagination for what can be possible when you add aerial footage to your edits.
The XP2 Quadcopter is the most powerful, lightest, and stable quadcopters for aerial video. The size and portability of the XP2 allows you to quickly transport, fly, and capture amazing aerial videos almost anywhere.
I'm never opposed to being sponsored, collaborating with other photographers, videographers, YouTubers or selling some of my work. I can always use cash for more equipment, warm weather gear, camera's, computer's, editing software, fuel and of course travel so I can hit more locations.
Anything else, just hit me up or leave me a comment. I appreciate you watching and do ask that you subscribe to my channel as well. Thanks.
