Visit Ha Giang, Vietnam | Vietnameseprivatetours.com
Sapa is a hill station built in 1922. It lies in a picturesque valley with an elevation for an about 1600 m close to the border with China. This Sapa travel guide cover the whole area of Sapa in spectacular, full of colorful minority peoples and frequently shrouded in mist. A Visit to Sapa would be considerably less interesting without the H’mong and Dzao people, the largest and most colorful ethnic groups in the region. They are mostly very poor, but are rapidly learning about free enterprise.

VIETNAM MOTORBIKE JOURNEY
Ha Giang in the most Northern province in Vietnam and it is full of incredible landscapes.
There's a very popular loop that takes you through the mountains and local villages around Ha Giang and OH BOY is it gorgeous!! It's called the Ha Giang Northern Loop and it was my favorite thing I did in Vietnam.
There are plenty of people that buy a motorbike and ride it through the country and sell it before they leave, but here in Ha Giang you can rent one and drive in a big loop. It takes 3 - 4 days depending on the exact route your take.
There are plenty of motorbike rental companies in Ha Giang and they can help you map out your journey. We took a bus from Hanoi and arrived at night so we just found a decent guesthouse and started our adventure the following morning. We just rented motorbikes from the guesthouse we stayed and it seems like many other guesthouses and hotels up there do the same.
If you travel with big bags, no worries - you can just leave your bag wherever you rent a motorbike from and only bring the essentials in a day pack since you'll be coming back there any way it's not necessary to bring all your stuff with you.

Ha Giang, Vietnam has something in common with most truly great places; it is just hard enough to get to that it has withstood the ravages of time. The town is an illustration of what can happen when nature flourishes, unsullied.
