Jalakara - Havelock Island Beach Resort in Andaman, India
My plan to visit to the Andaman archipelago has been a ‘trip in the making’ for a really long time. And for someone who resides outside India, just the simple logistics of getting there can be pretty time consuming and cumbersome and for this very reason my trip has always been on the back burner. So, when I got the opportunity to collaborate with Jalakara in Havelock Island, it was something like a dream come true.
Go to my blog on moushtravels.com for some more details.
Big thanks to Jalakara for this collaboration.

You Won't Believe This is India... 2!
Did you know India has the most beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear water, fascinating sea life, coral, and tropical islands in the world? Don't believe me? Come with me to the stunning Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territory of India. This is incredible India!
We started at Kala Pathar beach which is the most beautiful and picturesque beach on Havelock Island. Then we take our scooters to the start of the 1.8km trek point to get to Elephant Beach. Elephant Beach is perfect for snorkelling and getting away from the crowded main beaches.
After swimming, dancing, and snorkelling with the fish on Elephant Beach we grab lunch on the way to Radhanagar Beach - the largest and most popular beach on Havelock Island. Then I tell you one of the reasons why I love India so much, India simply has it all!
Forget Goa, forget any other beach in India; the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have the best beaches I've seen in India so far! Havelock certainly has the best beaches between it and Neil Island. Neil Island is more for relaxing on the beach.
In 2018 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi renamed Havelock Island to Swaraj Dweep, Ross Island to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island, and Neil Island to Shaheed Dweep.
HAVELOCK ISLAND | SWARAJ ISLAND | Andaman Trip |How to reach Havelock Island ? |
Havelock Island, officially Swaraj Island, is the one of the largest islands that comprise a chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman in the Andaman Islands.
Havelock is one of the few places that the administration of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India has permitted and encouraged development of tourism, with a focus on promoting eco-tourism.
Radhanagar Beach on the western coast, also known as Number 7 Beach, is one of the most popular beaches on Havelock and was named Best Beach in Asia by Time in 2004.Other notable beaches include Elephant Beach on the northwest coast. Kalapathar is another famous beach.
We have enjoyed various water sports activity too. Watch those videos and subscribe to our channel. Thank you
