We start our food hunting with one of the best meals we ate during our time in Jogja: sate klathak at Satay Klathak Pak Pong. This restaurant specialises in all things kambing or goat. We eat the satay klathak- goat meat threaded onto bicycle spoke skewers, seasoned lightly with salt and pepper and then cooked over hot charcoal together with tengkleng a traditional stew made up of goat ribs, bones and offal. Finger licking good!
We then head for rujak ice cream from a tiny street stall which serves its rujak (local fruit salad) topped with homemade ice cream. Refreshing and sweet- this place is a locals favourite.
In the evening we head to a popular noodle spot for Javanese fried noodles. We eat the bakmi godhog campur which is made up of vermicelli, yellow noodles and chicken served in a flavoursome chicken broth as well as the magelangan, a wok tossed concoction made up of both rice and noodles. This is comfort food at its finest.
To finish we hunt down a street food stall selling wedang ronde, a local dessert made up of peanut stuffed glutinous rice dumplings, palm fruit, peanuts and tiny cubes of bread in a spicy ginger broth. An epic day of food hunting!

The Botanic Garden is located in Mangunan, Dlingo District, Bantul District. This location is about 15 km from the capital of Bantul Regency and 35 km from downtown Yogyakarta. This location was built by the Bantul regency government in 2003 over an area of 23.3415 hectares at an altitude of 150-200m above sea level. Berjarak tempuh 20 km dari kota Wonosari dan 25 km dari kota Yogyakarta dengan ketinggian antara 200-700 mdpl dan suhu udara rata-rata 23˚C - 27˚C. Gunung Api Purba ini adalah gunung berapi yang aktif puluhan juta yang lalu, sekitar 60 – 70 juta stahun silam dan sekarang gunung ini dinyatakan sudah tidak aktif lagi. Air Terjun Jurug Gedhe terletak di dusun Gembyong, desa Ngoro-oro, kecamatan Patuk, kabupaten Gunungkidul, wisata ini terletak di bagian barat kabupaten Gunungkidul, yang secara langsung berbatasan dengan dua kabupaten, sebelah utara berbatasan dengan kabupaten Sleman, sebelah barat kabupaten Bantul. Wisata ini dapat ditempuh dengan kendaraan bermotor kurang lebih 10km ke arah utara dari pusat kecamatan Patuk. Jurug Gedhe sendiri diambil dari bahasa jawa dengan suku kata “Jurug” dan “Gedhe”, jurug artinya air terjun dan gedhe artinya besar.

In addition to the actual pine forest Mangunan we can also enjoy the natural beauty of forest in Pengus Pinus forest. The location of this pine forest is very close to the location of Pinus Mangunan Forest, still in the Dlingo area, Bantul, Yogyakarta. But unlike the Pine Forest Mangunan, Pengus Pinus forest is known to have more spot selfie so that visitors can more freely capture various interesting moments to be uploaded to social media or as a private collection. Nature in this place feels so cool and fun because the pine trees make the atmosphere more shady. One spot the most hunted selfie is a giant bird nest located in one corner of this pine forest, where at night we can immediately see the lights of houses in the distance.

Das Spiel eines Gamelan Orchesters gehört zum täglichen Ritual. Der Palast hat auch religiöse Bedeutung. In den Ornamenten finden sich die Symbole und Farben des Islam, Buddhismus und Hinduismus wieder.
