Koh Larn!
Also known to be spelled as Koh Lan, Koh Lahn, Koh Laan, etc. It is the closest island destination to both Bangkok and Pattaya. Just a 40 minute ferry ride from Pattaya City, many people just go as a day trip and leave the island in the evening. I say it is much better to spend at least 1 night on the island so you can see all of what it has to offer.
In this guide I tell you how to get to Koh Larn and how to get around. I also show you all the beaches that are accessible, both popular and not so well known. I also show some of the great food options the island offers.

Going To Koh Larn island, Pattaya, Thailand. This video shows you how to get around Koh Larn island for cheap.
It can be a bit confusing and daunting if you have never been to Koh Larn island.
What do you do or where do you go when you get off the ferry?
Well, this video shows you a bit of the island once you get off the ferry and where to go, to catch the cheap buses that take you around the island for 20-40thb.
Depending on where you want to go on the island of course.
You can also rent a motorbike for around 300thb a day.
I hope this video helps and gives you a good idea of how to navigate your way around the island once you get off the ferry at Koh Larn island.

Koh Lan island is located about 1 hour by ferry from Pattaya.
The ferry fee is about 100B round trip.
Price varies depending on the arriving beach.
The beauty of the white beaches on the island and the blue sea is very wonderful.
If you want to spend a day relaxing it is a recommended place.

Koh Phai, better known as, Bamboo Island, is one of the best vacation Islands in Thailand. This Thailand travel vlog from 2019, gives an in-depth look at the pristine beauty of this amazing private island in Thailand. Traveling to destination spots in Thailand is difficult simply because Thailand travel offers so many destinations. Koh Phai, or Bamboo island' is located about 35 minutes West of Pattaya, Thailand. To get to Koh Phai, you will need to rent a boat on Pattaya Beach. That boat will take you to Bamboo Island. This is a place for rest, relaxation, snorkeling, and swimming. The cost to get on this island is 150 Baht ($3) for a foreigner, or 50 Baht per Thai. You only pay once to enjoy all of the beaches on this island. It is maintained by the Royal Thai Navy.
If you are on vacation in or near Pattaya, Thailand, be certain to add Koh Phai (Bamboo island) to your vacation destination list. In my opinion, Koh Phai is the best vacation Island to visit in 2019.
