Day 1- General Island
6:00AM- ETA IN BUTUAN AIRPORT
6:30AM- RIDE a bus/van to Cantilan, PHP 350 Per head
11:30am- Tricycle to Cantilan P10 per head (5min travel time)
11:45am-Approach the guard and tell him that you are going to Libtong Cove so they can call a boatman for you (Php 2200 roundtrip/overnight)
12:30 PM ETA in Libtong Cove

9:00AM- Check out
9:30AM- Tricycle to Cantilan Terminal (PHP 20)
9:40am- Ride a van/bus to Tandag-drop off Lanuza (PHP 100)

12:00PM- head to laswitan- ride a van/bus to Tandag City (PHP 100)
12:45PM- From Tandag City, ride a multicab to Cortes (PHP 40)
1:05 PM- Habal habal to Laswitan (PHP 50 per way)
1:25 PM- ETA laswitan (Entrance Fee: PHP 30)
3:00 PM- Leave laswitan (just ff the steps above to headback to lanuza)
4:30 PM- ETA Lanuza
5:00 PM- SURF

11:00 AM- ETA GATA/ hire a habal habal to alameda farm (PHP50)
11:15 AM- ETA Alameda Farm, explore and have fun!
4:00PM- Head to San Agustin (Britania Grp of Island)
4:30PM- Check in La Entrada

3:35PM- ETA Terminal- then take a Multicab to Lianga or you can ride a van going to Tandag just tell the driver to drop you off at Gran Ola Surf Camp PHP20
4:00PM- ETA gran ola Surf Camp- check in

11:25am- ETA Enchanted River (just in time for the majestic fish feeding which starts at noon and last for 10mins... a must see which we didnt experience. )
3:00PM- Tricycle to Tinuy-an Falls
4:00PM - ETA Tinuy-an Falls and you can also spend a night there since they have rooms available

From Mangagoy you can hire a tricycle to bring you to Enchated River and Tinuy-An Falls (PHP 1200 good for 4 persons)

This is my home beach. I call it home beach because I basically grew up knowing the people and the landscape. I’ve seen the tides rise and fall here and I’ve felt the huge love of the people. Not to mention the amazing food.
Thank you Yu Clan for showing me the gift of family and for teaching me how to love this beach.
How to get there!
FROM MANILA:
A. You can hop on a plane going to Butuan. After that you have around 3-4 hours of a car ride before you reach Aras-Asan, the municipality nearest Cagwait.
B. You can also go to Cebu first via plane and then hop on a connecting flight to Tandag City (They fly Cebu to Tandag every MWF). From there, you’re just about 20-30 mins away from Cagwait. UPDATE (They have recently suspended flights from Cebu to Tandag for maintenance and improvements on the airport, no advise yet when it will resume)
