Challenging hike to the Peak Carlit in Pyrenees-Orientales, France | Bouillouses Natural Site
It was the second day of our 2 day hike to the Peak Carlit. That day we hiked 18 kms through the beautiful lakes at the Bouillouses Natural Site and ascended to the Pic Carlit (2921m).
For us it was for sure one of the hardest trails we've done so far but also the most rewarding. It took us in total 6 hours to do both ways. It is a must hike for everyone who is in the area and the lake Bouillouses natural site is very well worth to explore too. We wouldn't recommend going with heavy weight and the trekking poles are also not very useful sometimes. Wear some good trekking shoes and use some gloves for the hands. Take the right side of the mountain when it gets confusing and you will be on the right track. In the summer months to the Bouillouses area you can get by bus as well, taking the first one in Mont-Louis and then changing to the other one at Pla de Barres campsite.

We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.
We speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so don't hesitate to address to us in your native language.

Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo All-inclusive Resort Tour - Dominican Republic
Watch all our Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo videos here:
This is the Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo All-inclusive Resort located just outside the town of Las Terrenas in the Samaná Province of the Dominican Republic. We traveled to this all-inclusive hotel in December/January with the charter holiday company Star Tour which is the same charter company and shares the same logo as the British Thomson Holidays. This video is a slow walking tour around the grounds of the Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo. The aim of the footage is to provide viewers with the feel, atmosphere and sounds of the resort on a normal day while on holiday. We hope that the footage will help travellers (who have not visited before) make a decision as to whether or not to visit this All-Inclusive Resort and to travellers who have been here before we hope you enjoy viewing what should be familiar sights from your holiday at the Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo. On the tour of this resort you will view the hotel lobby (where the reception and many of the bars and restaurants are located), the evening entertainment area (where song and dance shows start every night around 22:00), the Tennis court / basketball court (one tennis court that doubles as a basketball court for all hotel guests to share), the Children´s Water Park (lovely water park area with swimming pool bar next to the pool), the hotels smaller quiet swimming pool, a look at the inside of the resorts Gym, a look at the Resort Spa and their Jacuzzi area, a quick view of the Bahia Scouts childrens babysitting building, a view of the Las Olas Beach Restaurant where the breakfast setting is just ending, the beachfront area between the Las Olas Restaurant and the Beach Bar, the beachfront Jacuzzi and the beach front bar, a good view of the main swimming pool including its bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, the games area which includes outdoor Foosball, two pool tables, two table tennis tables, a Pétanque and Shuffleboard court and more. We end the video in the Daiquiri Bar.
The Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo is an all inclusive resort located in the Dominican Republic just outside the old fishing town of Las Terrenas in the Samana Province, an area which is becoming more and more popular with tourists from the Americas (North + South) and Europe. This hotel was particularly popular with tourists from Canada (many French speakers from Quebec).
Wiki writes about Las Terrenas, It is internationally known for its high rate of tourism and its white sand beaches and clear waters. Among the most frequented places visitors are mostly European nationality Spanish, Italian, French and German. One of the best known people or community in the town, is the village of fishermen. Its name comes from the town was formerly mainly inhabited by fishermen. Among the best known beaches are beach poppy tip and whales...
Wiki writes about Samana, Samaná (Spanish pronunciation: [sama'na]) is a province of the Dominican Republic. Its capital is Santa Bárbara de Samaná, usually known as Samaná. Samaná is located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic. It is known for its mountains of which it is almost entirely formed. Samaná has numerous beaches, and with the 6 November 2006 opening of the new Samaná El Catey International Airport, it is bound to become one of major tourist destinations in the Dominican Republic...
Wiki writes about The Dominican Republic, The Dominican Republic (Listeni/d??m?n?k?n r?'p?bl?k/; Spanish: República Dominicana [re'pußlika ðomini'kana]) is a nation on the island of Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. The western three-eighths of the island is occupied by the nation of Haiti, making Hispaniola one of two Caribbean islands, along with Saint Martin, that are shared by two countries. Both by area and population, the Dominican Republic is the second-largest Caribbean nation (after Cuba), with 48,445 square kilometers (18,705 sq mi) and nearly 10 million people, one million of which live in the capital city, Santo Domingo..
This footage is filmed at the Gran Bahia Principe El Portillo All-inclusive Resort located just outside the town of Las Terrenas, Samana Province in the Dominican Republic. We are walking from the hotels main lobby to the beach.

FUERTEVENTURA - OASIS PARK ZOO - OVER 3000 ANIMALS! | twoplustwocrew
FUERTEVENTURA - OASIS PARK ZOO
We spent a great day at Oasis Park in the south of Fuerteventura. They have over 3000 animals and 250 different species. It is way more than a zoo as it has the only Botanical Garden in Fuerteventura. They are famous for their special attractions and experiences. We saw the best sea lion show ever! and Oscar loved the birds of prey show and managed to some great shots for his bird photography portfolio. All their shows are quite educational without being boring at all. You can even swim with the sea lions and go on a camel safari...what ever floats your boat! We highly recommend visiting but be warned you will need a full day to make sure you try and see everything. We noticed they did a deal to return for a second day for €15 each which I think would be worth utilising if you had the time as there is masses to see and all the shows are free once inside. We had fabulous ice cream sundaes at the end of our visit and thought the food prices very reasonable. We liked this place alot as the whole place was really well maintained and the animals seemed really happy!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT OASIS PARK I FOUND ON THEIR WEBSITE:
Oasis Park Fuerteventura has the largest camel reserve in Europe. They are pioneering a new project: the production and future marketing of camel milk, which has outstanding nutritional values and benefits for people with diabetes.

The first autumn day and getting to Oviedo |Camino del Norte from Villaviciosa to Cudillero - Day 22
The first autumn day and getting to Oviedo |Camino del Norte from Villaviciosa to Cudillero - Day 22
On the Day 22 of our Camino de Santiago del Norte we got from the village Villaviciosa to Oviedo and then to the town Cudillero in Asturias.
We woke up absolutely broken apart even though we slept well that night. All the muscles were sore and the shoulders and back were aching. Everything was telling us to stop that day but we couldn't. So we decided to continue the Camino in direction to Villaviciosa and probably find a spot there to camp cause there was no official camping whatsoever. Also we started to think about the big cities that we were getting close to - Gijon and Oviedo and we needed to skip them somehow as usual. So it was hard but we started walking. The weather was working in our favour - the sky was completely covered in clouds and we enjoyed it a lot after yesterday's extreme heat. We passed by few villages with old churches and the route was going through the beautiful green valley with eucalyptus forest on the sides...

Hike in Spanish Pyrenees | Llivia-Solar station Themis
In the video we show you our very first hike in Park Regional de les Pyrenees Catalanes to the solar station Themis. As the development of the solar energy interests and attracks us a lot and we live quite close to it, so no wonder we chose this route first.
It was quite challenging, mostly because of the hot weather and heavy backpacks. But overall we enjoyed the hike as the route goes through forest, river, waterfalls and fields full of blossom. So if you hike wisely in the morning and not too heavy loaded you will enjoy it very much.
The solar station is open in summer from 3rd of July to 3rd of September, every day from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:30.
Following the links below you can learn more information about the solar station Themis:
And here is the map of our hike that you can download from Google Drive and open in your Google Earth map in case you want to follow:
We hope that you found this video useful and interesting to watch.
