On Sunday, May 18 Milledgeville Main Street was named a recipient of the most prominent award given by the National Main Street Center, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, as a Great American Main Street. Lewis and Clark Adventures travels around the Ozarks finding spots that remain mostly untouched since people followed Lewis and Clark out west. If Lewis and Clark would have started their journey a little to the south, this is the landscape they would have seen.
