Some local Melaka (Malacca) food in the video are Mochi is rice cake covered in peanut powders. The rice cake is floppy and sweet and peanut powder is crispy and salty. Fruit candy stick is a dessert where variety of fruits are attached into a stick. Then the whole stick is submerged into brown sugar (ping tang). This is children and young adult favorites.

Melaka (Malacca / 马六甲) is the The Historic State in Malaysia it is located at a strategic Straits of Malacca. Melaka (Malacca) has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008. What make Melaka (Malacca) so unique is that the city blends between eastern civilization (Chinese, Malay and Peranakan) and western civilization (Portuguese, Dutch and English). About Red Square / Red House / Stadthuys / Dutch Square
this is a historical architecture built by the Dutch in 1650. It was famous for its red exterior thus being called locally as Red House. Currently the Red House is occupied as History and Ethnography Museum.
About St Paul Church, Melaka (Malacca)
This church was built by Portuguese in year 1521. It is the oldest church building in Malaysia and South East Asia.

What to do in Melaka? - Full Travel Guide - The Culture and Historical Hub of Malaysia - Top places
Melaka or also often spelled as Malacca, is one of Malaysia’s most important centers of history. Melaka has been an important trading hub due to its location along the spice route. Due to this attractive location, many traders from India, China, Portugal, Netherlands and Arabia came to this port to buy and sell their goods. The traces of all these peoples can be found up to today and thus, it does not surprise one by seeing temples, churches and mosques in the same street. Today, Melaka is one of the most visited towns in Malaysia, by locals, Singaporean and Chinese tourists. The great attractivity of Melaka arises from its many historical buildings, street markets and Peranakan culture. The latter form a unique ethnic group, as they are the descendants of Chinese traders, who intermarried with Malay women. Therefore, visiting some of their museums, as well as trying their cuisine is highly recommended. In the list below you find some of my suggested places that I did not show in the video:
