Melides Lagoon autumn sunset - Portugal HD
Located on the Alentejo coast, next to the beach that separates fresh water from the ocean waves.
The good accesses, the extensive beach, the existence of restaurants have made it one of the excellent beaches of the region. People fell in love with the village (about 4 kilometers from the beach) and the surrounding woods.
The Melides Lagoon extends inland through several kilometers of rice paddies and has to the north a sandstone cliff.
This is a good spot for birdwatching.
The beach is guarded having access by road until next to the beach, with parking accessible for cars and buses, with some equipment to support the bathing activity, besides a camping site about 1 km.

Wir starten in Sines, der Geburtsstadt von Vasco da Gama - dem berühmten Seefahrer Portugals. Von da aus geht es weiter nach Santiago do Cacém, wo wir uns in einer Pastelaria leckeren portugiesischen Kuchen kaufen: Pastel de Nata, Bolo de Arroz und eine Bola de Berlim.
Da es in Santiago do Cacém aber nicht so viel zu entdecken gibt, fahren wir weiter nach Melides. Dort erwartet uns ein menschenleerer Traum-Strand und eine gemütlicher Stellplatz (fast) direkt am Meer.

Albufeira lagoon is situated on the western side of the Setúbal Peninsula, in between Caparica and Espichel Cape, at about 20km south of Lisboa.
This is a place of unique beauty, combining the purity of the ocean, with the lagoon waters and extensive pine tree fields.
The lagoon offers great conditions for the practice of sport fishing, sailing or windsurf.
It is formed by two main ponds connected by a narrow canal: the small pond, less deep, and the big pond with 15 meters maximum of depth.
A Lagoa de Albufeira situa-se na orla Ocidental da Península de Setúbal, no arco litoral Caparica - Espichel, cerca de 20Km a Sul de Lisboa. É um local de invulgar beleza, onde se conjuga o mar a lagoa e extensos pinhais.A Lagoa tem características invulgares e óptimas para a prática da pesca desportiva, vela e windsurf.
É formada por dois corpos lagunares principais ligados por um canal estreito, sinuosos e pouco profundo: a Lagoa Pequena, mais interior e menos profunda e a Lagoa Grande, com profundidades máximas de cerca de 15m.
