Probably the first thing you will notice as you enter is the beautiful flooring. Throughout the entire house the floors are large Tuscan stone tiles. On the ground floor is a beautiful living room, 2nd living room/study, bahtroom, laundry, large storeroom and a stunning fitted kitchen.
Come on to the first floor via the central staircase and to your left is a grand hallway and 2 large beautiful bedrooms, both with en-suite. On the right of the staircase are 4 bedrooms, all en-suite. Every room is beautifully finished. All stone floors, solid wood doors, tastefully decorated throughout, nothing unfinished.
On the floor above in the roof space are three large rooms that can be used as an apartment. Currently they are used for storage but have plumbing, electricity and cotta floors.
The gardens around the house are wonderful, the perfect place to spend time in the warm months, either around the pool or under the vine covered terraces around the house.
There is a large swimming pool with stone paving.
There are good, reliable local people in place to care for the house. Yearly property taxes are under €1,000 a year. The property has underfloor gas heating, 3 water wells and mains water. Access is excellent.

CASSINASCO (ASTI, PIEMONTE, ITALY)
Cassinasco, comune di 649 abitanti, provincia di Asti, Piemonte, Italia. Il feudo fu proprietà del marchese Aleramo del Monferrato che l'ottenne da Ottone I nel 967. A questi fu tolto dagli alessandrini ed in seguito passò in mano agli astigiani alleati con i genovesi, i quali nel 1227 in base il trattato di Milano furono costretti a restituirlo ad Alessandria alleata con Alba e Tortona. I vescovi di Acqui, avendo il diritto alle decime, le avevano donate a titolo di feudo ai signori di Bubbio, uno dei quali, un certo Ligerzio (o Eigerxius), nel 1305 giurò obbedienza e sottomissione al vescovo Oddone. In seguito Cassinasco cadde sotto il dominio della casa di Monferrato e ne presero possesso i Guttuari, per passare poi nel 1454 agli Sforza signori di Milano. Nel 1615 l'esercito del duca di Savoia transitò da Cassinasco e fu attaccato dagli abitanti del luogo che uccisero alcuni soldati dell'avanguardia: il villaggio fu saccheggiato e bruciato dai francesi alleati dei Savoia che si trovavano nelle file del loro esercito. Nell'incendio il castello andò completamente distrutto ad eccezione della torre tuttora esistente. Fotografie scattate domenica 12 maggio 2013 in occasione della 130esima Sagra del Polentone.
