One of the most common questions I get asked is Mark, “what are your favorite Thai foods?” And so when Greg was in Bangkok I thought it would be an awesome idea to cover when he was filming with his amazing video skills.

Choosing my favorite Thai dishes is a very hard thing to do, but I narrowed it down.
1. Braised beef fire pot (เกาเหลาเนื้อหม้อไฟ) at Heng Chun Seng (ร้าน เฮ้งชุนเส็ง) - There’s just about nothing better to eat for breakfast in Bangkok, and after trying quite a few versions, Heng Chun Seng is still my favorite. The beef is tender and most of all the soup is so fragrant from the herbs and beef. Google map:
2. Holy basil stir fry (กระเพราหมูสับ) at Ung Jia Huad (ร้านอึ้งเจี่ยฮวด) - If there’s one dish that could be the most popular and beloved easy to eat Thai food, it’s holy basil stir fry (with your choice of meat). It’s a dish that always hits the spot. Google map:
3. Green papaya salad (ตำปูปลาร้า) Stall on Sukhumvit - You’ll find green papaya salad on just about every street corning in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. My favorite version is som tam boo plaraa, dressed with fermented fish sauce.
4. Fish viscera curry (แกงไตปลา) at Janhom (ร้านจันทร์หอม) - Southern Thai food is always a favorite of mine, and gaeng tai pla, or a curry made with fish viscera is one of the most flavorful Thai foods of them all. Google map:
5. Jungle curry (แกงป่า) at Pla Mae Nam (ร้านปลาแม่น้ำ) - A dish I just can’t get over, and have to order every chance I have, is Thai jungle curry. It’s an amazing mixture of chilies and herbs, and in this case, fish. This is also one of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok at the moment as well. Google map:

Top Attractions in Loei Province Thailand and Chiang Khan
Drone footage covering the top attractions in Loei and Chiang Khan (Isaan/Northeastern Thailand including the Walking Street (Chai Khong Road) and main tourist area and attractions better known as Walking Street, which runs parallel to the Mekong River and Laos. Where much of the charm comes in mornings with a procession of monks collecting alms (Tak Baht/Bintabaht) along Chiang Khan’s walking street (between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM) from surrounding temples. Further out in Loei is Phu Pa Por Mountains (ภูป่าเปาะ เลย) with drone footage over Thailand's Kunming and Mount Fuji 2 which are famous landmarks in these scenic parts of Loei Province near the Laos border. Also views from above Huai Krathing Reservoir in Loei, Isaan (Northeastern Thailand) taken by drone over the lake and reservoir surrounded by mountains. And the lake boat cruises below which host eating and dinners up until 17:30PM daily. These off the beaten track attractions in Loei are in Thailand’s Northeastern (Isaan) region.

Nam Nao National Park is located in the . It's around 446 kilometers from Bangkok to Nam Nao National Park. Designated as national park in 1972. The entrance fees are 200 Baht for foreigners (100 Baht for children) and 40 Baht for Thai citizens (20 Baht children).

Phu My Ho Chi Minh City Cruise Terminal Port Tour & Info (4K)
Take a look at the cruise port of Phu My, the gateway into Ho Chi Minh City, aka Saigon, Vietnam. We were there in March 2018 as part of our 14 Day Asia cruise aboard the Princess Cruises Majestic Princess (aka 盛世公主号) cruise ship. Also take a look at the process of docking by cruise ship at the port.
The Phy My port terminal area is an industrial port as you can see in the video. We are American citizens, and a Vietnam Visa was required at a cost of $58 USD per person. We did not have to apply for the visa ourselves- the cruise line automatically does this and charges the cost to each guest's onboard account.
Getting off the ship required the ship key card and a Landing Card that was also prepared by the cruise line. Once ashore, the buses for the ship ordered excursions into Saigon are parked the closest. If you are on a third party tour like we were, you have to walk a little further to board the bus.
At the port a local Vietnamese merchants setup makeshift shops in case you wanted to purchase souvenir and goods. The drive from Phu My to Saigon was about 1.5 hours.

Nang Ram Beach Sattahip Thailand
Nang Ram Beach Sattahip Thailand (หาดนางรำที่สัตหีบจ๊ะ or Hat Nang Ram) One of the best beaches in this part of the country with clear water and nice surroundings by islands and mountains. Located in a military area and you pay a small fee to enter the beach. The military also takes care of keeping the beach clean from disposal and waste. A very recommended place to visit on your travel in Thailand. Also a quite popular place for tourists and locals, so be aware the beach can be quite flooded by people in the weekends. As seen in this video there are also a nearby fish market with fresh fish and seafood from the ocean. We usually stop by this market first, to buy some delicious shrimps to eat at the beach. Not far from the beach you will also find nice viewpoints to visit as seen in the end of the video. Video contains drone footage from the beach and nearby islands.
