My Trip to Zurich, Switzerland
In July I spent a few days exploring the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland.
I was only able to visit for 3 days but Zurich is such a great place that I would need at least a few weeks to thoroughly explore it and experience everything that the city has to offer.
While Switzerland is very expensive I find that the quality of everything from street food all the way up to accommodation is very high and in the end it's worth it for what you get.
Even in July, during the height of the Zurich travel tourist season, the city wasn't very busy at all.
Regardless of the time of year you're visiting Zurich is a wonderful place and I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in Switzerland or Western Europe.

Lucerne is a city in central Switzerland (officially the Swiss Confederation) due to its location on the shore of Lake Lucerne within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi in the Swiss Alps, Lucerne has long been a destination for tourists. One of the city's famous landmarks is the Chapel Bridge a wooden bridge first erected in the 14th century.
Today, drive through the Burgundy region where vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see. Pass the fortified town of Belfort to lakeside Lucerne with views of the 14th century Chapel Bridge and a visit to the Lion Monument during your orientation tour, then traverse the Alps into Italy via the scenic St. Gotthard route.

Zurich, Switzerland - Niederdorf Neighborhood
Take a lazy stroll during the day and party during the night in the alleys of this historic neighborhood.
Getting There/Directions:
Tram - Number 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, Or 15 to Central station.
Walk - 5 minutes walking distance from the Main Station.
When you come to Niederdorf, you had see this place filled with bars, cafes, restaurants and antique shops, but do not overlook the historical richness of this area. During the day you can stroll in the quaint streets here, or browse some interesting antique shops, or just lazily lounge at one of the many cafes. When you are walking down the streets, you feel like you are back in the medieval world. And every now and then you might want to take a look up to notice the interesting hisorical architecture of these buildings.
This shop is called the Chas Challer which means cheese seller. Let is take a look inside. Of course cheese is our specialty, that is what we are focus on, and we are also selling good wine. This was Niederdorf during the daytime, and this is Niederdorf during the night. This area is completely transformed at night. Numerous bars, clubs and restaurants open their doors, and it is a huge party scene. I am Nadia Migdal, showing you Zurich.

Part ONE: ZUG City Tour / Switzerland
WELCOME TO ZUG :)
The town of Zug is located in the canton of Zug and is the canton's capital. The name Zug originates from fishing vocabulary; in the middle ages it referred to the right to pull up fishing nets and hence to the right to fish. The official language of Zug is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.
Zug may be small but it is a high quality destination in Switzerland. It is also compact, so everywhere can be easily reached. It enjoys beautiful undulating scenery with two lakes and is not far from the mountains. What is more, it enjoys the most stunning sunsets. It is also known for its cherries and the world of business and is a most pleasant place in which to live, work, or just spend time.
It is a joy just being here.

Mt. Stanserhorn: cabrio cable car & amazing panoramic views (Switzerland)
Stanserhorn is 1898 m (6227 ft) high mountain located in Central Switzerland. It is not only famous for its unique means of transport - i.e. modern open-air cabrio cable car and historical funicular, but also for amazing panoramic views over Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) and the Swiss Alps. We visited it in July 2018 and had a blast.
You can read a bit more about this trip and how to get to Stanserhorn here: and here for report of my other visit of Stanserhorn:
