Things to see and do:
- Visit the Papa Luna Castle (5€, which includes the gardens).
- Go shopping in the many small shops and market stalls located
in the medieval streets within the castle walls.
- Have lunch in one of the many restaurants where they sell
traditional fish and meat dishes including tasty seafood and
paellas.
- Spend time on North and South beaches (beautiful golden sand).
- Take a walk along the promenade and have one of the amazing
ice-creams sold throughout the town.
- Visit the wetlands, only 500m from the beach, has a wonderful
wooden walkway that takes you through the nature reserve.
- Go hiking in the Natural Park of Serra D´Irta (5km south).
There are lots of hotels, hostels and camping grounds if you would like to stay the night.

Visiting Peniscola - A great camping spot
In this episode we continue slowly heading south and arrive at the town of Peniscola. We find a wonderful spot just north o Peniscola down a dirt track, next to the sea. At night we had great views of the town lit up.
Peniscola castle is famous for being one of the filming locations for the TV series Game of Thrones.
We met a fellow vanner called Patrik and great fun hanging out and sharing stories.
