Apart from some aquatic plants, but they were collected every morning from tractors and transported by trucks, we could not fault it, the water temperature, but was quite high due to the year's hot summer, adults bothered us probably more than Italian children!

Places to see in ( Gallarate - Italy )
Gallarate is a city and comune of Alto Milanese of Lombardy and of Milan metropolitan area, northern Italy, in the Province of Varese. It has a population of some 54 thousand people. Its name comes from Latin, in fact a lot of cities around it have the same root rate, such as Casorate Sempione, Samarate, etc.
It is the junction of railways to Varese, Laveno and Arona (for the Simplon). Some 10 kilometres (6 miles) to the west are the electric works of Vizzola, where 23,000 hp are derived from the river Ticino. Its territory is crossed by the river Arnetta, and belongs to the Ticino River Natural Park. The city in the first part of the 19th century had a strong textile industry.
Founded by the Gauls and later conquered by the Romans, Gallarate was mentioned as an important vicus or village in documents dating back to the Roman conquest of what was then called Gallia Cisalpina. After the Carolingian conquet of northern-central Italy, a castle was erected upon the remains of the original Roman fortifications located beside the still existing Basilica of Santa Maria. The castle has disappeared, but its ancient location is identified through the city’s topography and by the street name Via Postcastello.
By the latter half of the 19th century modern industry had begun to take over many areas of Italy. In a few decades, Gallarate became an important industrial city. This period was also marked by heavy social tensions brought about by the rapid political and economic changes wrought by Gallarate’s own industrial revolution. Nowadays, Gallarate’s industrial structure no longer includes these giant industrial powerhouses of the past. Their existence, however, is still marked out by the presence of the high chimneys, which are still visible along Gallarate’s skyline. Many of the old Liberty-style buildings, where thousands of Gallaratesi worked during the past century-and-a-half, have been turned into new modern multi-level shopping centres and plazas.
Alot to see in Gallarate such as :

The station is a stop for several long-running trains (EuroCity from Milan to Geneva and Basle), of regional trains from Milan to Domodossola, and of line S5 of Milan suburban railway service, and line S30 of Ticino railway network. The Adriatic Sea is a sea separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan peninsula. The Adriatic Sea is named after the ancient Etruscan city 's Adria, located on the territory of present Italian town of the same name, in the province of Rovigo in Veneto. The Adriatic Sea is a part of the Mediterranean Sea, a sort of gulf lying very close to the north. The Adriatic Sea is a part of the Mediterranean Sea, a very elongated gulf closed north. He bathes the north and east of Italy and west of the peninsula Balkan. The countries bordering the Adriatic Sea are Italy, to Slovenia, to Croatia, to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Montenegro and Albania. The Adriatic Sea has several important seaports, especially Venice (Mestre) and Trieste, which was long maritime outlet of the Austro-Hungarian Empire to the Mediterranean sea. The Adriatic horn six states: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania. In Italian is called Mother Adriatico ; in Albanian, Deti Adriatik ; in Bosnian and Croatian.
The Adriatic Sea is considered an articulation of the Mediterranean Sea, but in the Preclassic period was considered to be an articulation of the Ionian Sea. During the medieval period the Venetians called around the Adriatic and the Gulf of Venice and also called il nostro channel, like the continuation of the Grand Canal.
One of the most famous legends is that of the Argonauts. Set in Pola in Croatia who stop coming to Colchis on the Adriatic for fear of having to inform the king failure of his mission and the death of his son Jason. According to legend, the island Brioni in the Istrian peninsula, was born in the hands of angels.
The west coast is low and sandy presented except the promontory of Gargano, the promontory of Conero promontory and San Bartolo, while the east is rocky, with many entries, peninsulas and islands, as Istria and Dalmatia. The main islands of the Adriatic Sea.
Adriatic passes in the south to the Ionian Sea at Otrantosundet. The greatest depth is 1588 meters. Adriatic has since time immemorial been busy shipping traffic. Examples of this are the traffic with ferries running between several cities on both sides of the ocean. The name Adriatic has been around since ancient times ; the Latin name of the Mare Hadriaticum or Mare Adriaticum. The name, which comes from the city of Adria (or Hadria ), was originally just a name on the upper part of the ocean, but was expanded in pace with Syrakusakolonierna became more and more important. Even at that time ranged Adriatic but only to Monte Gargano, the rest was called the Ionian Sea. The Adriatic Sea is, in principle, between Italy and Croatia, and both coasts are major tourist destinations. In ancient Roman times was transported objects, animals and slaves across the Adriatic to Ostia, Rome's port.
Adriatic is most 770 km wide, and has an average width of 160 kilometers. The name of the Adriatic Sea has existed since ancient times. The Latin Journal Mare Hadriaticum. The name probably derives from the town of Adria or Hadrian, which was the name for the northern part of the bay. He later came to mean the entire bay. The Adriatic Sea is mostly closed more connected with the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea over it. Limit the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are the Strait of Otranto 75 km wide between Italy and Albania.
The sea is mostly shallow. North of Pula, the depth not exceeding 50 m, south of Zadar, 100 m - the area during the Ice Age was on the mainland. In the southern part of the Adriatic Sea is hollow where depths drop quickly (maximum depth is 1233 m). The Adriatic is a relatively warm sea - temperature does not fall below 11 ° C. Transparency He is also great. An important property of seawater and salinity, or salinity, reflecting the total amount of dissolved salts in seawater 1000g.
Ocean currents in the Adriatic Sea warm and the eastern coast of flowing from south to north, and along the west coast from north to south. Tides are not emphasized. Croatian Adriatic coast is considered the cleanest seas in Europe. At the same time the Italian coast mainly polluted (pollution which brings river Po ) but this excessive pollution has no effect on the Croatian coast due to sea currents.

BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN ITALY is a project for italian tourism promotion. In this video you will discover Cattolica, a little town in the province of Rimini on the Adriatic Coast of Romagna.
In this project we used the formula of time-lapse: a sequence of images taken consecutively at different times, showing what you normally can't see, giving to the viewer a magical atmosphere made of places and people almost surreal.
The subject of this video is the sunset filmed from the harbor of Cattolica. Seen in hot summer days, thanks to the warmth of the earth and the warm sea , the atmosphere like a painting, because Cattolica loves to paint! Experienced into the water or into the sea, it is something that words can not describe.
