This is a special episode dedicated to showing you just what Belize has to offer it's children. As Joseph Stamp Romero says in the beginning credits You see a lot of negative things some times high-lighted about our young people, we also take a lot of time to focus on their positive side.
In this episode you are introduced to some of the things Belize has to offer it's children - Belize's education system, talent competitions, a couple passionate about educating the youths in their town who are straggling to open a high school in San Pedro Columbia, and even Belize's first Flash Mob at the Cacao festival organized by a fabulous young dancer Prem Pop.
I interview Us Capital energy, a company exploring for oil in Belize, who is one of the biggest supporters of education in Belize, donating computers, repainting schools, building roads and libraries.
I interviewed Joseph Arzu head gardener at Belcampo who teaches High school students about organic farming and who shows you the amazing farm and lodge at the luxurious resort.
I also interviewed people from San Pedro Columbia to illustrate just would difficult it is for, most families, to send their children to secondary school, the extra work they all have to do to offer their children an education.
With an interview from Dr Carmen Lopez from the ministry of education who explains the subsidies the minister of education Patrick Faber put into place in 2010 to help send children to high school.
This is an interesting episode full of information, and talented and beautiful Belizean children.

My personal Top 5 Things to do in Belize | What to do in Belize
Belize is a gorgeous country nestled on the Caribbean coast under the Riviera Maya of Mexico and the northern states of Guatemala. Being in Latin America, Belize is the odd one out. The primary language here is English and the lifestyle in Belize is very reggae, very Caribbean and very relaxed, with a lot of things to do. So, the question is, you are visiting Belize, what to do in Belize when you are there? Luckily for you, no matter what you are into, you will find many things to do in Belize, and I have narrowed it down to my personal Top 5 Things to do in Belize. If you believe I missed a few things to do in Belize then please write them in the comments.
Top things to do in Belize.
Visit San Ignacio, Belize. Great little town up in the hills with ruins and other extreme things to do. Visit the Belize Cayes of Ambergris and Caulker and enjoy the slow way of life. See some of the Mayan Ruins in Belize and definitely either go snorkeling or diving off the Belizean Coast!
There are lot of other things to do in Belize, other than listed so do your research but I tried to touch on a few different things that will appeal to the traveller going through Belize, and the vacationers relaxing in Belize.

Just a very short drive thorugh a bit of Punta Gorda in southern Belize, far less commercially exploited which makes it a much nicer and slower paced little city. There are several good places to eat, our favourite is Asha's Culture Kitchen, when we are in PG we stay at Hickatee Cottages. One of the small companies making a difference is Cotton Tree Chocolate Factory. There is so much more to do and see so come south and explore for yourself.

Hopkins Belize to La Ceiba Honduras - What a trip !! | Backpacking Central America
What a crazy travel day as we leave the coastal town of Hopkins in Belize and continue heading south towards La Ceiba in Honduras. Things don't quite go according to plan - which happens quite often in Central America.
We take a chicken bus to Punta Gorda located at the south of Belize and take a boat over to Puerto Barrios in Guatemala. We stay in a lovely hostel there called El Castillo before getting an early shuttle to the town of La Ceiba in Honduras - Country number 18 for TREAD the Globe.
We were aiming to get the boat across to the island of Utila however travel days don't always go according to plan !!
