After surprising my Mum with her dream trip to Cuba we flew over to the capital Havana to spend a few days there before our tour in Western Cuba began.
All major sights in Old Havanna are in walking distance such as El Capitolio , the Museum of the Revolution, Plaza Vieja or the Great Theatre to name just a few. Take a day to roam the narrow streets of the old town and make sure to have a drink at the roof of the Hotel Ambos Mundos!

Whenever I visit Medellin, this is one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The rooms are modern and always clean. The staff are great and will do what they can to make sure you feel comfortable. As well as the prices are reasonable. They offer rooms with and without a jacuzzi.

Welcome to Colombia
In traveling Colombia, you cannot miss visiting Guatape, a town approximately two hours from Medellin that holds the title of being Colombia’s most colorful town. Located on the shores of a sprawling barrier lake. Guatape, Colombia is known for its traditional and vibrant illustrations that cover the buildings in unique images of animals, people, and shapes. Its borders are the towns of Alexandria, San Rafael, San Carlos, Granada and El Peñol.
To go to Guatapé the easiest way is by bus taken in Medellín. This town offers religious tourism, agritourism and ecotourism, as it has both historical and artistic Colombian patrimony, as well as ecological destinations. Some of them are churches as Nuestra Señora del Carmen or the monastery of Los Monjes Benedictinos, the Street of Remembrance (La Calle del Recuerdo), among others. In its ecological destination are the recreational park La Culebra, the Malecón and of course, La Piedra del Peñol, or the big stone. Be sure to check out the incredible view from the top of La Piedra del Peñol. Other things to do include water sports, such as jet skiing and water skiing, and fishing.

Qué hacer en Rodas (Grecia)
Si quieren saber qué hacer en Rodas, Grecia, una de las Islas Griegas, este es el video perfecto para ustedes! La hermosa isla griega de Rodas es uno de los destinos que más nos sorprendió en este crucero por el Mediterráneo a bordo del Celebrity Reflection.
Famosa por albergar hace siglos al Coloso de Rodas, una de las maravillas del mundo antiguo.
Para comenzar el día, los llevamos a la punta del puerto donde están las estatuas de los ciervos (símbolos de la ciudad), este es el lugar donde dicen algunos historiadores que se encontraba hace siglos el enorme coloso.
Las islas griegas son famosas por sus playas y Rodas no es la excepción. Visitamos la playa Elli, cerca al puerto para disfrutar un delicioso rato en el mar. Para continuar con la mañan de relax, hacemos una parada en el Aqua Seaside Cafe para tomar unos ricos cocteles.
Luego, caminamos hasta la muralla para entrar a la ciudad antigua y almorzar en el restaurante Fainos, uno de los más famosos de la ciudad. Allí probamos musaca, dolmadas, gemistá y muchos más platos griegos. Recorremos la ciudad antigua comenzando por el Palacio del Gran Maestre, un espectacular palacio con más de 600 años cuya arquitectura estilo Medieval nos enamoró. Seguimos el recorrido por la icónica Calle de los Cballeros, una de las calle medievales más famosas del mundo. Y terminamos el día recorriendo la ciudad, sus tiendas, restaurantes y ruinas históricas.
