    Jequiá da Praia is a municipality located in the coast of the Brazilian state of Alagoas. Its area is 339 km², and in 2005 it had a population of 12,926. The municipal seat lies on the Jequiá River. The municipality contains the 10,231 hectares Lagoa do Jequiá Marine Extractive Reserve, created in 2002.

    Praia do Gunga is located 20 miles south of Maceió, Alagoas. It is considered as one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. The beach is surrounded by coconut trees and it positioned right between the Atlantic Ocean and Lagoa do Roteiro . This position guarantees a unique color of the ocean surrounding the beach. It is bluer during the low tides and it turns greener during the high tides when the ocean waters meet the lake waters. This beach is part of the Roteiro region and you can get there by boat from Barra de São Miguel or by car driving through a private property. This is a very popular tourist site with many entertainment options such as boat trips to nearby natural aquarium or beaches such as Barra de São Miguel.     Ponta Verde is a beach in Maceió, capital city of Alagoas, state of Brazil. A tip of land that rises out of the sea and is covered by green palm trees. This is the phenomenon that gave its name to one of the most frequented beaches in Maceió. In the past, it housed one of the most famous symbols of the city, “The Rhea Neck”, a palm tree whose trunk resembled a rhea’s neck. It was located near the present Yacht Club Alagoas . The reefs form natural pools and it is very common, during low tides, to see tourists bathing in these pools, especially near the lighthouse. There are some stands with live music, bars, restaurants, snack bars, and hotels.

    The Estádio Rei Pelé, also known as Trapichão, is a multi-purpose stadium in Maceió, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 18,801. The stadium was built in 1970. Estádio Rei Pelé is owned by the Government of Alagoas and it is the stadium where CRB and CSA locationally play their home matches. The stadium is named after the footballer Pelé, and its name means King Pelé. The stadium is nicknamed Trapichão because it is located in Trapiche da Barra neighborhood. There is a museum inside the stadium, called Museu de Esportes Edvaldo Santa Rosa, named after an Alagoan footballer nicknamed Dida, who played for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and the Brazil national football team.
