Japan's Least Populated Prefecture | Tottori Prefecture Travel Guide
Tottori Prefecture is a hidden gem of Japan and an off the beaten path place to visit but it's definitely one of my top 3 favourite prefectures in Japan!!! I can't wait to share with you what I did in Tottori Prefecture in 4 days and just how underrated this place is.... :(
You can get to Tottori easily via direct flights from Tokyo(Haneda or Narita Airport), direct buses depart from all over Japan's major cities and of course you can take the limited express train (Super Hakuta) from many areas such as Kyoto and Osaka.
Here are the places I visited in the video:

Miyajima, Japan: How To Make The Most Of A Rainy Day During Your Travels
There are things we cannot control during our travels and on the top of that list is Mother Nature and her choice of weather. She'll make it rain when she wants to and there's nothing we can do about it apart from going with the flow.
Although we generally consider rain to be a bad thing, everything has a flip side and we can choose to focus on that. As for rain, there are two main things that I like to focus on. First of all, the fact that when it is raining, we tend to enter spaces we might otherwise have taken for granted. It may be a restaurant we would never have picked, but that turns out to be great; it may be a small shrine on the way to a bigger one, that turns out to be incredibly special.
The other thing is that rain brings a particular kind of beauty to places and if you stop and look, there is always something unique formed by the drops. Take some time to observe what you see around you. For photographers, rain means there is a beautiful photo on the making. The drops on windows; the reflection on puddles.
Most importantly, I like to imagine all the plants and flowers being nourished by the water. Rain is essential for our planet's health. So consider the interruption of the sunny day as a gift to nature around you.
Is there anything else you like to think about when it comes to perceiving rain as something good rather than bad? Do comment below!
[Beautiful Japan] HIROSHIMA Kagura Dance
Kagura Dance
A traditional art of Japan brings mortal and immortal together in a celebration of life
The traditional performance of kagura offered at shrine festivals and rites is derived from the word 'kamukura' or 'kamikura', a 'seat of God' expressing the belief that each shrine is a holy place. To the music of flutes, drums, and other ancient instruments,
the dancers entice the God to this seat, and it is in these moments when one's sense
of being alive is at its highest. Kagura also traces its history back to Japanese mythology. When Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess, hid herself away in a heavenly cave, the Goddess Amenouzume began to dance in front of the cave, and the laughter
of the watching immortals drew the Sun Goddess back out of the darkness. This is believed to be the beginning of kagura dance. Due to its proximity to Shimane Prefecture or land of this Izumo mythology, kagura thrives in the north of Hiroshima Prefecture, where even children form kagura dance groups. The gentle swaying of the dance entertains the Gods as mortal and immortal join in a celebration of life. The vitality
and hospitality of our ancestors lives on in this kagura dance.
