TRAVEL VLOG: 9 DAYS IN TAIWAN (Taichung, Taitung, Hualien & Taipei)
Visited Taiwan in July 2017 for 9 days and this time round, we managed to cover quite a few places, and even got to see the Taiwan International Balloon Festival and a free outdoor concert in Hualien!
Getting around Taiwan is pretty easy even if you're backpacking, we got around everywhere mainly on the Taiwan Railway (TRA) across different cities and took the Tourism Shuttle within the city to all the places we went (:

The National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan | 4K
The National Palace Museum located in Taipei and Taibao, Taiwan, has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. The collection encompasses 8,000 years of history of Chinese art from the Neolithic age to the modern.[4] Most of the collection are high quality pieces collected by China's emperors. The National Palace Museum shares its roots with the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The National Palace Museum was originally established as the Palace Museum in Jingzhao Difang's Forbidden City on 10 October 1925, shortly after the expulsion of Puyi, the last emperor of China, from the Forbidden City by warlord Feng Yü-hsiang. The articles in the museum consisted of the valuables of the former Imperial family.

Taobao Marketplace is a Chinese website for online shopping similar to eBay and Amazon that is operated in China by Alibaba Group. Founded by Alibaba Group on May 10, 2003, Taobao Marketplace facilitates consumer-to-consumer retail by providing a platform for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs to open online stores that mainly cater to consumers in Chinese-speaking regions (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) and also abroad. With around 760 million product listings as of March 2013, Taobao Marketplace is one of the world’s top 10 most visited websites according to Alexa. For the year ended March 31, 2013, the combined gross merchandise volume (GMV) of Taobao Marketplace and Tmall.com exceeded 1 trillion yuan.
Sellers are able to post goods for sale either through a fixed price or auction. Auctions make up a small percentage of transactions. The majority of the products are new merchandise sold at fixed prices. Buyers can assess seller backgrounds by information available on the site, including ratings, comments and complaints.

2017太保市花海節 (TaiBao Flower Festival), ChiaYi, Taiwan, 1/24/2017
2017太保市花海節，將於1月22日至31日在太保市新埤里(高鐵大道約3k處，如地圖所示)展開系列活動，廣達25公頃的有機稻米專區，一眼望去即是無際的油菜田花海，其他還有波斯菊和其他花卉，顏色是層層疊疊，色彩是繽紛亮麗。今年更特別搭建有景觀台可俯瞰花海區，其他還有幸福熊、幸福教堂、彩虹花道、新太保心幸福圖騰和稻草等裝置藝術一同展出。(註一)是農曆春節期間南下返鄉的一處免費賞花景點，十足可以漫步田野間，體驗那田。

This video is about the hot-spring town of Guanziling in southern Taiwan. I tried to include as much helpful info as possible, so it's a bit long. The image quality of the screen recording is not as good as expected, I shouldn't move the cursor so much, I shouldn't hit so hard on the mouse, I should write a script...
