I started my Taiwan adventure in Taipei, often called the food capital of Asia for its wide assortment of cuisines and unique themed restaurants including the prawn fishing restaurant where you'll be able to capture your own dinner but also the toilet restaurant where you can eat beef curry out of a toilet bowl.
The best way to start your Taipei adventure is with an epic Taiwanese breakfast at Fu Hang Soy Milk, the most popular joint in town but do come early, lineups can grow very large. I ordered the deep-fried bread stick, egg pancake and a delicious cold soy milk soup. There is a good reason why locals wait hours in line to get this stuff.
One of the most incredible experiences in Taipei was getting a knife massage by knife massage practitioners who require to be vegetarian and meditate daily but don't worry the cleavers used are blunt, it is quite satisfying getting hammered by blunt metal to a point where I fell asleep from relaxation.
For ancient temples in Taipei, visit the breathtaking Longshan temple, also known as 'the meeting place of the gods' were you can witness daily rituals, offerings and many locals praying to the many deities.
One of the strangest foods I tried were the fermented duck eggs which were traditionally made by a mixture of lime, salt and ash turning the egg white base into a gelatin texture and the egg yolk green from fermentation, to my surprise, this was a delicious snack.
As a giant lover of seafood, the Addiction Aquatic Development fish market in Taipei is the ultimate destination. A high-end fish market with some of the best sashimi, grilled eel and other fish products I had ever tasted, a great spot for lunch!
In conclusion, Taipei left a lasting impression on me to such an extent that I returned to Taipei a second time in less than a month time to record even more incredible footage of this mesmerizing city. If you are considering of visiting Asia, do NOT skip Taiwan.

15 Things To Do in TAIWAN for First-timers | Taiwan Travel Guide | #Taiwan2017
SORRY ABOUT THE MISSING BACKGROUND MUSIC. I GUESS IT’S A COPYRIGHT ISSUE AND WAS REMOVED BY THE ARTIST.
Here are 15 things to do if it's your first time in Taiwan. I know we could have done a lot more things like ride the Maokong Gondola among other more exciting activities but we had my father with us who is 70 years old so we were kinda limited to doing easier and more convenient things. This trip was my birthday gift to him.
We will definitely go back and do my coffee crawl.
Enjoy and see you on the next video!

Where to shop in Taipei? (Ximending & Old Streets)
I really enjoyed shopping in Taipei. My favorite place to shop is Ximending! Basically, everything is there, from clothes to accessories, shoes, cosmetics, and many moooooore. But other items are cheaper if you're shopping in a night market or an old street.
If you like local and indie brands, you can check Yong Kang Street! (which is not included in the video)

A Walk in Ximending Shopping Street, Taipei, Taiwan
Located in west Taipei, Ximending is one of the most popular tourist spots among both local and international travelers. Ximending features a wide selection of fashionable clothing and accessories in many styles include Japanese, Chinese and Western. Ximending is similar to Shibuya in Japan, both are famed for a diversity of entertainments and activities that allure large numbers of young people and young adults. It is often a gathering site for young people and has been noted the most fashionable and popular shopping area in Taiwan.
Ximending is filled with all kinds of shopping options, from department stores to shops and stores, including various CD shops, hair salons, Eslite Department Stores, movie theaters, Karaoke and many others. Other than enjoying various activities, do not miss the chance to sample famous dishes of Ximending such as “Ya Rou Bian” for tasty duck meat, “Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle” for an unique experience appreciating delicious rice noodles in long line, “Simonfood Tempura” for mouth-watering Taiwanese style tempura, “Lautianlu” for stewed and braised food, plus many other delicacies that will satisfy your taste buds.
Ximending is often crowded by visitors as there are abundant options of shops and restaurants. Being a hot spot in Taipei, a lot of celebrities choose to hold concerts and events at the Ximending Walking Street.
How to reach there: With an excellent location close to Taipei Main Station, Ximending offers great convenience in transportations with MRT and a multitude of buses. For travelers coming from other cities, they may simply take train or THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail) to Taipei Main Station and then take a short MRT ride or 10mins short walk to Ximending area.

A Day in Taichung, Taiwan
Taichung is about 2 hours south of Taipei and is home to the country's biggest night market. I recently went there for a one-day blogger event where pretty much all we did was eat! Watch until the end to check out Fengjia Night Market, the biggest night market in Taiwan and arguably the city's most popular attraction.
