Jeannine Compton-Antoine signs historic contract with the people of the Micoud North constituency running as an independent with the symbol of the hand.
At a meeting held in the village on Micoud on Sunday 24th. April, 2016, Jeannine Compton-Antoine signed a contract with the people of her constituency, Micoud North, for her recall from office if elected in the upcoming general elections and not performing satisfactorily as their representative.
The final conditions of the contract state:
1. Should JEANNINE fail to fulfill her obligations herein, THE PEOPLE may choose to
hold her accountable and DEMAND performance of this CONTRACT.
2. Should JEANNINE fail in performance of the CONTRACT the PEOPLE of Micoud North may request by petition, bearing the signatures of at least three quarters (3/4) of the voting population of Micoud North, that she resign from the office of Parliamentary Representative for Micoud North. Upon receipt of a petition bearing the signatures of at least three quarters (3/4) of the voting population of Micoud North JEANNINE shall demit office.
