We discovered the accessible beach of Vinaròs in the Province of Castellón with a wheelchair, simply worrying about enjoying the sea.
We recently made a trip to four coastal locations in the Province of Castellón and we have enjoyed four accessible beaches with wheelchairs. One of these beaches is located in Vinaròs, Fora del Forat beach.
The beach is at one end of the extensive, cozy and accessible promenade and next to the accessible area we will find several parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility.
The accessible point of Fora del Forat beach has changing rooms and adapted bathroom, shower with hose, which is very much appreciated since you can remove the salt sitting in the amphibious chair itself. It also has a transfer crane, amphibious crutches and, of course, several amphibious chairs, wooden access platforms to the different points are stable and comfortable, there is also a shaded area where we can place ourselves with our wheelchair and enjoy a beach day without worrying about anything.

Peniscola - The Gibraltar of Valencia
Peniscola or Peñíscola is often referred to as the Gibraltar of Valencia lies in the province of Castellon on the Mediterranean Sea.
It is a fortified seaport built on a rocky headland attached to the mainland and rest of the town by a narrow strip of land. Besides visiting the charming town and its monuments, you can fully enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking in the national park Sierra de Irta.
