Starting at Water Orton, where the highlight has to be 47830 passing with two barrier vehicles, we then head over to the WCML and after brief stops at Atherstone & Polesworth we head to Colwich wjere we see 47786 passing with the ECS for a charter the following day. After a few minutes at a footbridge just south of the station we then head to the station itself, where as well as the usual freight trafic there is the highlight of 47818 passing light loco and also 68004 on a short freight.

A day at Peterborough 1st September 2015
The modern equivalent of the old BR Cheap Day Return ticket cost the princely sum of £15 so Peterborough for the day was on. I was interest to see the EMU traffic that does not venture farther North, especially as it was livery change period but we were also treated to a good variety of freight including a passing 47. Even the track machines came out to play. All in all a good day out for the money on a station with a good buffet and clean toilets.
Bath Spa to St Ives - April 2015
A journey on the 0900 Bath Spa to St Ives on the blustery cold day of Saturday 18th April 2015. Clip shows edited locations featured enroute - Dawlish, Shaldon, Royal Albert Bridge and Truro Cathedral. Finally changing trains at St Erth for the four and a quarter mile run along the busy branch line to St Ives.
Wickerslack - Orton Circular (scenic drive 4x speed), Cumbria, England - 2nd September, 2014
This film is 4x speed time-lapse style footage of a scenic drive in rural Cumbria, UK. It begins in Wickerslack and then goes via Crosby Ravensworth, Woodfoot, and then on the B6260 to Orton then onto the A6 and Shap before heading back to Wickerslack.

Nene Park Peterborough A GREAT DAY OUT WITH THE KIDS Ferry Meadows
Nene Valley Park in Peterborough is a great day out for the kids and family. The Park boasts some great lakes, lush green meadows and super cycle paths. There are an array of activities to suit all with a steam train, boat rides, water sports to name just a few. There is also a coffee shop that serves meals and also a great gift shop with information centre. f you are looking for an affordable place to take the whole family where the kids will be thoroughly entertained then look no further Nene Park has it all. Nene Park ferry Meadows has great walking and cycling routes plus an area where you can ride your horse.Ferry Meadows is great for water sports too with kayaking, paddle boarding and also the large Swan pedalos a super way to have some fun on the water and the lakes. Nene Park Peterborough is one of the most visited parks in the uk and has lots for kids and adults to keep everyone entertained.
South Wales (Newport & Cardiff)
Myself and Hayden went on an adventure to South Wales. A 4 or 5 hour stint at Newport was quite lacking. So we ventured off out of the station in disgust and took in some of the scenic surroundings. After 2pm I noticed Cardiff was one stop away and at £5.10 return seemed like a good place to get a different perspective. We encountered more DMU's than you could shake a stick at. But, as things worked out, a few bits and pieces surprised us. Future trips to Derby, Westbury and York are planned.
