Gaydon is a parish and village in Warwickshire, England, close to Royal Leamington Spa. In the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 376, increasing to 446 at the 2011 Census.The village is at the junction of the B4100 and B4451 roads, a mile from Junction 12 of the M40 motorway, and is two miles north-east of Kineton.

2019 Classic Cars Drive It Day Perth Airport Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland travel video of classic and vintage cars leaving Perth Airport by Scone on 2019 Drive It Day from Blairgowrie, Perthshire. The event started from Blairgowrie Golf Club through Blairgowrie prior to heading towards Abernyte and Rait and driving over Dalreichmoor towards Balbeggie and Scone to Perth Airport. The afternoon drive was through scenic parts of the Angus Glens, Glenshee and over Moulin Moor to Pitlochry for High Tea in the Atholl Palace Hotel. Every year Drive It Day is purposefully held on the Sunday nearest to the 23rd April. Because it commemorates the 64 cars that left London on the first day of the Thousand Mile Trial on 23 April 1900.

Lakeland Motor Museum

Backbarrow has a Museum, but travel in style from Ambleside on Windermere Lake Cruises to Lakeside. Then travel on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. Take the Shuttle Bus to Lakeland Motor Museum for a trip back in time. A great place to go in any weather and there's a fantastic Cafe called Cafe Ambio. Or turn off the A590 at Backbarrow and look for the Museum in Blue. You will see information on Malcome Campbell and Blue Bird, TT Race Museum exhibits Transport of every type. This tourist attraction in Cumbria can easily be accessed from Lakeside on a steam train and is a South Lakes Day out, tourism at its best.

Broughton Castle is a medieval fortified manor house in the village of Broughton which is about two miles southwest of Banbury, Oxfordshire, England on the B4035 road. It is the home of the Fiennes family. The castle sits in parkland and is surrounded by a wide moat. It opens to the public over the summer.

A visit to the Brighton Toy & Model Museum, hidden under Brighton station, is very worthwhile. In the Museum - small but nice - you can see the typical English toys. And of course many English model trains.
