Saturday Evening on the West Coast Mainline, at Linslade | 19/08/17

2160p 4K HD!
Possibly one of the best line side locations for filming on the West Coast Mainline, Linslade Curve, which is just north of Leighton Buzzard. Decided to stop off for just over half hour during dusk on a mild, August evening. Always a good vantage point to catch Pendo's & Voyagers tilting. During the first part of the video the fast lines were open, however as normal on a Saturday evening, Network Rail take possession of 2 of the 4 lines for routine weekend engineering. So this weekend the fast lines were closed, meaning that during the latter part of the video you'll notice all traffic on the slow lines.
A good variety of trains, considering I was only there just over half an hour.
INCLUDES: Virgin Pendolino's & Voyagers, London Midland 350's, GBRF 66, DB Schenker 66 and class 37! (37800) dragging a South Eastern class 375 to Wolverton works for refurbishment!
Not bad going for half an hour on a Saturday evening.
Thanks for watching

Trainspotting at Newcastle (Central), ECML - 26/5/18 [TSE S5E14 - Series Finale]
Hi all and welcome to another video from TrainSpotEast where I am at Newcastle, where we see services from VTEC (the last appearance ever), CrossCountry, Northern and TransPennine Express.
Look out for:
- 91101 Flying Scotsman
- 91114 Durham Cathedral
- 43274 Spirit of Sunderland
- Scotrail 156 unit stabled
- CrossCountry Deformed 221, 221144
- Network Rail New Measurement Train/Flying Banana
Newcastle is a fantastic station, this has stunning architecture with a canopy, the views either way are fantastic, especially the south where it heads towards the bridge, the vantage points are brilliant with fantastic traction and frequency despite a few delays. Just one freight and a special was helpful to make this station more enjoyable. I will return there with normal services resumed from CrossCountry that start or leave here towards Reading/Southampton. Highly recommended to all.
A massive thanks to Virgin Trains East Coast for the work you have done over the three years, brilliant trains, helpful staff and even some great drivers, let's hope LNER can do better when I return to that area next time.
If you have enjoyed the video, please like it up, comment for any feedback/suggestions and please don't forget to subscribe for more like this.

Cross Country HST Diversion to Newport, South Wales!
This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, RachaelMatt
1080p HD!
Onboard a Cross Country HST, 43204 + 43301 from Cheltenham Spa to Bristol Temple Meads on Saturday 18th February 2017. However, the journey wasn't quite so straight forward. Due to engineering works near Yate, services to & from Bristol and the South West were being diverted into Gloucester, then onwards through Lydney, Chepstow, Severn Tunnel Junction and into Newport! (South Wales). Before turning round, heading back through Severn Tunnel Junction station, but this time going into the Tunnel, back into England and into Bristol Parkway. Where we change direction again and rejoin the normal route into Bristol Temple Meads. So quite the detour. Cheltenham to Bristol, but via Wales first...
Something a little different anyway, so thought I'd get some footage of it. As you don't see a Cross Country HST venture into Wales very often. So that's quite rare.
Thanks for watching

On board 'The Cathedrals Express' | Rugby to Southall | 03.09.2015
On the 3rd September, 2015, I travelled onboard 'The Cathedrals Express' from Rugby to Bristol Temple Meads, via the West Coast Mainline to WIllesden, and then using the freight lines to Acton to join the Great Western Mainline.
Although, less than 24 hours before departure, our 'Steam Dreams' soon fell through, as the men equipped with rulers at Network Rail, deemed the Duchess out of gauge on the Great Western Mainline around Bath with 71 problems after major engineering works in the area, 17 of which, prohibited the Duchess to pass, 2 of the spots, including the bridges at either end of Bath station.
Because of this, the Duchess was only able to do part of the 'Down' run, the Rugby to Southall Loop section, before moving light engine to the depot at Southall Loco Services Ltd. to have her fire disposed and put to rest.
In this shortened video, we see the Duchess working parts of the Rugby to Southall leg, including the arrival into Rugby Platform 6, Long Buckby, Northampton stop, Milton Keynes stop, The Willesden lines and so on. I did not bother to film the 47 sections as I was in my seat for pretty much the rest of the trip.
