Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Cappadocia, Turkey: Hot-Air Balloon Ride
More info about travel to Turkey: Cappadocia is rightly famous for its exotic landscape of fantastical land formations. The scenery is best surveyed from one of the 60 or so hot-air balloons that lift off every clear morning, giving visitors breathtaking views and lifelong memories.
At you'll find money-saving travel tips, small-group tours, guidebooks, TV shows, radio programs, podcasts, and more on this destination.
Hot Air Balloon Rides Over Cappadocia, Turkey - Timelapse
Hi, I am a pilot of Cappadocia Voyager Balloons. All of the video you watch is from my recordings from the balloon flights over Cappadocia. I used Canon 7D, Canon Mirrorless and GoPro for recording the balloon rides. The video is in fast forward mode. The balloon rides are not this fast. During the rides you will feel its like a slow motion mode.
I highly recommend to take a balloon ride over Cappadocia. If you never been to Cappadocia, you must add it to your bucket list. Cappadocia is famous for its magnificent natural beauty and hot air balloons. Visiting Cappadocia, the land of a thousand caves, churches and underground cities, is an opportunity to step back in time and experience the Asia Minor of old. If you've never taken a flight in a hot-air-balloon, Cappadocia is one of the best places in the world to try it. Flight conditions are especially favourable here, with balloons operating most mornings throughout the year.
At Cappadocia Voyager Balloons my experienced ground crew and pilots work in harmony to provide you a safe and comfortable flight and an experience you will never forget: from your hotel pick-up, to the breakfast, the flight over the colorful valleys of this unique region, to the champagne celebration after landing. My team includes members who speak fluent English, Portuguese and Japanese to serve you.
Looking forward to meeting you in Cappadocia.
Best Regards,
Mehmet Halis AYDOGAN

How To Plan Hot Air Balloon Ride | Cappadocia Turkey | Travel Vlog | Desi Couple On The Go
#Cappadocia #HotAirBalloon #IndianVlogger Cappadocia is known for it's hot air balloon ride and this is one of the top things to do in Cappadocia turkey. In this video, you will know everything about hot air balloon ride and just plan and enjoy it.
We had booked the hot air balloon ride 2 months before from Voyager Balloon company. They picked up us from our hotel at 3.30 AM and we reached the place at 4.30 AM and began our exceptional journey to up in the sky.
If you are planning your travel to turkey, Istanbul or Cappadocia, I have all the information for you in my Turkey Travel Vlogs. How to plan trip to turkey is very common question in everyone's mind, and I believe you can plan your trip after watching my this travel series.
Turkey is one of the most amazing country where East meets West and getting visa to visit turkey is also not a very complex process. If someone has valid Schengen visa, residence card, they can get turkish tourist visa online in 10 minutes. Cost for the visa was around 45$
We started our journey to Istanbul from Amsterdam, we flew from Turkish airlines and it was a comfortable 3.5 hours flight. As we always do, we had pre-ordered our vegetarian food in the flight and it was good. We landed at new Istanbul airport which started in April 2019 only and it was very huge and modern.
We were staying only for one night in Istanbul and was traveling to Cappadocia next day morning so we had booked a hotel which was close to Istanbul airport but that airport is now closed and new airport is around 40 KMs away from city.
There are many ways to come to Istanbul city from airport, you can get airport taxis, buses etc and buses are mostly common means to transport and it's also cost effective. We took Istanbul card and recharged it with 100 Turkish Lira and reached to place which was close to our hotel. From there we took the taxi which costs 30 TL and we reached to hotel which was basic but value for money hotel and then we explored the neighborhood for dinner.
Next morning we got up early to catch our flight, we hired a taxi just from outside of our hotel and reached airport, it costs around 140 TL. We had our quick breakfast and coffee at airport, which costs around 70 TL and boarded our flight from new airport to Kayseri.
At Kayseri, we had already arranged pre-booked taxi from our hotel for just 35 TL per person, as soon as taxi received all the guests, we started from airport to Goreme city where we stayed at this beautiful property, Harman Cave Hotel. This was a perfect cave hotel in Cappadocia on the hills and we had amazing view of the fairy chimneys and hot air balloons from the open terrace of the hotel. After check-in, we took some rest before we started our quick trip to city center for lunch.
At Goreme center, we found this indian restaurant, Namaste Indian, food there was superb and we had great time interacting with person there who was from Afghanistan and he learnt hindi by watching movie 'Khuda Gawah'.
Thanks for watching and keep following my travel in turkey. I releases video every week, Wednesday & Saturday, 8 AM IST.

World Famous Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tour
I spent a long weekend in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. It's about a 1 hour flight from Istanbul.
Cappadocia is world famous for its hot air balloon tours and I didn't want to miss my chance.
There are many companies running balloon tours, I chose mine through my hostel and it was balloon turk, the website is in the video. They picked me up at 4:30 am and gave us a brief safety talk before the flight.
Everything about the flight was awesome and worth it. I purchased the balloon flight plus the green tour (more on that later) for total 130 Euros, so the balloon flight alone costs about 90-100 euros (you can try to bargain if you like).
The flights are subject to weather of course and can be cancelled but generally if the sky is clear, the balloons are going up.
The panoramic views are spectacular. It's truly a sight to see and I hope to return and do it again!

Cappadocia
Cappadocia is the name given to that triangle of land that lies between Nevsehir, Nigde, and Aksaray.
The interesting formations of tuff called Fairy Chimneys have actually been formed by the effects of wind and floor waters pouring off the surrounding hills and mountains into the valley floors. The flood waters found their own paths through the steep gorges, causing deep cracks and breakages in the hard stone. The softer erodable material underneath has been gradually swept away, resulting in conical formations protected by basalt caps.
These capped fairy chimneys with their conical bodies and cap formations are primarily found in the area around Urgup. The basalt caps tend to be harder and more durable than the softer tuff bodies. This is actually the first condition necessary for the creation of the fairy chimney. The life of the fairy chimney whether long or short depends on the durability of the rock at its cap.
The types of fairy chimneys found in the Cappadocia Region are classified as to capped, conic, mushroom shaped, column type or sharp rock. The fairy chimneys are primarily found in the valleys within the Urgup - Uchisar - Avanos triangle, the area lying between Urgup and Sahinefendi, the environs of Nevsehir, Soganli Valley in Kayseri and Selime Village in Aksaray.
Land of fairy tales... Mysterious and enchanting... Just some of the incredible sights waiting to be discovered here are the fairy chimneys, underground cities, hot air balloon tours on this incredible landscape.
Tourism
Cappadocia area is a popular tourist destination in Turkey, as it has many areas with unique geological, historic, and cultural features.
The most important towns and destinations in Cappadocia are Urgup, Goreme, Uchisar, Ihlara Valley, Avanos, Selime, Guzelyurt and Zelve. Among the underground cities worth seeing are Derinkuyu, Kaymakli, Ozkanak and Gaziemir. The best historic mansions and cave houses for tourist stays are in Goreme, Urgup, Uchisar and Guzelyurt.
Hot air ballooning is very popular in Cappadocia and is available in Goreme. Trekking is enjoyed in Urgup, Ihlara Valley, Goreme and Monastery Valley (Guzelyurt).

Turkey (Istanbul and Cappadocia)
4 days in Cappadocia and 2 days in Istanbul!
4 days in Cappa is just enough! We stayed in Goreme, and managed to visit Kaymakli underground city, Love Valley, Rose Valley, Pigeon Valley, Uchisar Castle, Hot air balloon ride, night view of Goreme, Avanos, ATV sunset tour and had lots of photo sessions for ourselves! We wanted a chill trip, so we did not go for any full day tour. We took an alternative of just booking a driver, a private car and off we go! It was around 150 Turkish Lira for 3 places in 4-5 hours (pretty worth it).
2 days in Istanbul is definitely not enough! We covered Galata Tower, Eminonu (Spice Bazaar), and just the outsides of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. If you have the chance, spare about two to three days in Istanbul to visit the insides of the Mosques, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern and Tokapi Palace! They are absolutely, absolutely stunning from what we watched from a 4D simulation video of Istanbul in Galata Tower. We too experienced Turkish Bath in one of the famous Turkish Bath in town (Kilic Ali Pasa Hamam). It is around 220 TurkishLira but it is worth every cent of it! Definitely an experience you would want to try in Turkey.
People there were generally very very friendly! Food there was amazing and affordable (for us students)!
We rate our trip to Turkey 10/10.
