Cincinnati Attractions - 5 Things Every Tourist Should Do!
Cincinnati Attractions blog post can be found here:
Did you know that Cincinnati is becoming hip? Thanks to a lot of gentrification and the 2015 MLB All-Star Game, there are many Cincinnati attractions that showcase its great food and beer scene, as well as its downtown core. In this video, I cover 5 things every tourist should do in Cincinnati!
Firstly, you have to take a tour with American Legacy Tours. I did the Queen City Haunted Tour that takes you on a ghost tour of the city, including inside the haunted Symphony Hotel! The company offers other great tours as well, like the Underground Tour that shows you the city's hidden tunnels.
The second of the Cincinnati attractions is the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood. This is a trendy neighborhood that has been gentrified and has an excellent food and beer selection, including my favorite cider at Rhinegeist Brewing Company.
Third on the list is Graeter's Ice Cream, which is a local chain with multiple locations across Cincinnati. They are known for their black raspberry chip flavor which I recommend!
Fourth is Smale Riverfront Park, a new downtown park along the riverfront that contains illuminated fountains, a playground, and a Queen City sign. It is clean and beautiful, an absolute treat for locals.
Finally, you have to walk across the John A. Roebling suspension bridge. The bridge has great views of the city and river and will take you right to Kentucky. On the other side of the bridge, you will get a full-scale view of the downtown Cincinnati skyline.
In summary, there are a lot of great things to do in Cincinnati, highlighted by their bars and restaurants, inviting downtown core, and sports as well.

Places to see in ( Cincinnati - USA )
Places to see in ( Cincinnati - USA )
Cincinnati is a city in Ohio, on the Ohio River. The Over-the-Rhine district is known for its 19th-century architecture, including Findlay Market, which has food and craft vendors. To the north is the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. The Cincinnati Museum Center encompasses history, science and children's museums in the art deco Union Terminal. Works spanning 6,000 years are on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Cincinnati is Ohio's third largest city and the largest metro region. It lies on the north bank of the Ohio River in Southwest Ohio in the United States of America. Known as the Queen City or Queen of the West, Cincinnati was the only 19th century American city that left a favorable impression on the then 30-year-old English author Charles Dickens. “Cincinnati is a beautiful city; cheerful, thriving, and animated,” Dickens wrote in “American Notes.” “I have not often seen a place that commends itself so favorably and pleasantly to a stranger at the first glance as this does: with its clean houses of red and white, its well-paved roads, and foot-ways of bright tile. Nor does it become less prepossessing on a closer acquaintance.”
Avondale is a primarily residential urban neighborhood near the center of the city, notable for the presence of the Cincinnati Zoo.
Hyde Park is an upscale, largely white and upper class residential neighborhood. Mt. Adams is a trendy, upscale neighborhood located directly northeast of downtown Cincinnati. Clifton, not to be confused with a nearby Clifton Heights, is also located near the city center. Mt. Washington is an up and coming economically diverse neighborhood located on Cincinnati's east side.
Northside is an economically and racially diverse neighborhood notable for a strong sense of community investment and pride. Oakley is an up and coming neighborhood that borders Hyde Park. ver-the-Rhine (OTR) is the city's historic district. Price Hill is one of Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhoods, first settled in 1789 and named Price Hill in the 1870s after General Rees Price. West End the little bit that survived of this once large densely populated neighborhood would not be notable for travelers except for the Dayton Street Historic District. Riverfront/The Banks This is a newly developed area in downtown Cincinnati that falls between Great American Ballpark home of the Reds. Newport and Covington Though these neighborhoods are actually across the river in Kentucky.

Retired Man's Bike Trips all over the U.S.
I am not ready for the Tour de France or in any way a competitive biker or racer. I am retired educator who needed to find a way to get outside, travel, get in much better shape and have fun. Over the past year I took up bicycling on a refurbished 2009 Haro XL Express hybrid comfort bike that I got from Old Bikes Belong in Louisville, KY and my retired life is awesome now.
I have been able to ride on trails as far south as Tampa, FL, as far north as Ottawa, ON, as far east as Washington DC and as far west as San Francisco, CA and ride 5-6 days a week, from as little as five to as much as 50 miles a day. Except for a few dirt and mountain paths (and on UNDERGROUND) these are mostly paved, relatively flat and enjoyable trails that are used by thousands. I do not like to ride on city streets and do not include bike lanes in my videos......just a preference as I value my life more than adventure.
I have included my favorite video clips from the following cities as well, taken mostly with a GoPro Hero3, helmet mounted and some with an IPhone clipped to my shirt, so I know some of them bounce a bit! I hope this helps someone as many of my rides have been discovered on YouTube and I find myself saying, I can do that!. Enjoy and know that if this 60 year old, 6'5 retiree can get out there and do it and lose fifty pounds, so can you! I'd be happy to provide feedback for others if you need it! Now that it's done snowing bring on 2015!

Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel Review - Anaheim Resort Convention Center
#disneyland #hotelreviews #hamptoninnandsuites
We're at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at the Disneyland Resort giving you an honest hotel tour & review. Since it's one of the newer hotels near Disneyland and is classified as a Deluxe Resort on the Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel list, we decided to check it out for ourselves.
The staff here are AMAZING but the hotel is a little further than we'd like from the Disneyland Maingate. Watch as we weigh the pros and cons of this resort in this honest hotel review.
Note: this video is for the Anaheim Resort Convention Centre location at 100 W Katella Avenue.
For more information on this hotel, check out some of our other review videos:

Since this hotel is over a 20 minute walk to Disneyland, we recommend you save your steps for the park. An Uber or Lyft will run you about $5-7 bucks each way, or you can take the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) bus which is $6 per adult or $2.50 per child for a one day pass. For more info on ART check out their website:

CARL PALMER'S ELP LEGACY- REMEMBERING KEITH AND THE MUSIC OF EMERSON LAKE & PALMER
CARL PALMER’S ELP LEGACY
ANNOUNCES 10TH TOUR OF NORTH AMERICA.
“REMEMBERING KEITH AND THE MUSIC OF EMERSON LAKE & PALMER- Part II.”
Exciting show features the instrumental rock classics of EMERSON LAKE & PALMER, in final leg of world tour.
Carl Palmer, among the most renowned drummers in rock history and a founding member of both ELP and ASIA, is returning to the United States for the second leg of enormously successful 2016 REMEMBERING KEITH AND THE MUSIC OF EMERSON LAKE & PALMER TOUR. Originally designed to be a celebration of Palmer’s 50th year in music, the focus and name of the tour was changed in light of the tragic death of Keith Emerson on March 11th.
“I will deeply miss Keith and I want you all to know I will carry on flying the ELP banner and playing the great music with my band for many years to come,” said Palmer, in a statement. “We have lost a very talented and gifted musician but this great music will continue for a long, long time.”
Adds Palmer: “The first leg of the tour was a huge success, culminating in the June 24th Pictures At An Exhibition Tribute To Keith Emerson show in Miami, FL, which included my friends Steve Hackett, Mark Stein and David Frangioni making guest appearances. This tour will continue where the last tour left off.”
The “Remembering Keith” tour features his popular ELP Legacy band and will also highlight his collection of fine art, recently done in conjunction with California’s Scene Four Art Studios. The images in these collections are the result of collaboration between Palmer and the acclaimed Los Angeles Art Team, Scene Four and feature a series of signed and numbered prints of stunning visual images constructed by capturing rhythm. The images combine motion, color, and lighting into some of the most compelling fine art visuals ever created. These very limited Palmer art collections are available at CarlPalmerArt.com.
Palmer will present bold, new arrangements of the best-loved instrumental music of ELP, and other composers. A multi-media experience combining music and video projection, the show promises to be among the most musically compelling tours of the year. Carl Palmer ELP Legacy is a red-hot power trio that features Palmer on drums and percussion; guitarist Paul Bielatowicz and bassist Simon Fitzpatrick.
“Since 2001, I have been playing with my own power trio, replacing the keyboards with electric guitar,” says Palmer. “I felt that was the only honest way to approach the music of ELP. I didn’t want to have a singer trying to sound like Greg Lake. ELP did so much instrumental music, this format made sense to me. The idea was to re-invent the music; there will be several new classic ELP tunes this time.”
Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy will play nearly two hours and drum enthusiasts can expect an evening of compelling percussive skills, from the man who brought the drum set to the forefront of rock n roll music.
