Mineral Springs of Hanging Rock, NC
Presentation given by Park Ranger Jason Anthony, on Stokes County Mineral Springs Resorts: Reclaiming a Lost History. One of those mineral springs resorts was Vade Mecum itself. Vade Mecum, a Latin phrase loosely translated as “go with me,” was developed in the 1890s as a mineral springs spa, based on the healthful properties of Moore Springs. Acquired by the state in 2014 to become part of Hanging Rock State Park, the 400-acre site is centered on its stunning1902 three-story wooden hotel, the last of the area’s mineral springs resorts still standing. The hotel is closed to the public at this time. Among other amenities, the property includes a stone chapel from the 1930s, cabins, campgrounds, an access on the Dan River, and several miles of trails.

| 2) Trump stands up for Kavanaugh, hopes the woman testifies.
| 3) The Fallen State with Dr. Drew. Subscribe! Pray for the people in North Carolina and help those affected by the storm.
Former cop calls and says these people “believe” the accuser with no evidence! What if that were your son!
| 4) Reporter confronts black looters — you know you’re looting, right? You’re breaking the law!
| 5) Get rid of anger. Aaron of MN talks to Jesse.
Sep 20 Hour 2: Homeless caller listens to Jesse from smartphone in his car!
| 1) Jesse talks with caller
| 2) Skip of Augusta, GA, is homeless! He begs for money sometimes. He has a girlfriend who visits him in an abandoned home! His kids want him to live with them.
| 3) Skip of Augusta never saved money. His mother and father adopted him. His mother saved, and father made good money traveling. He can’t get into an old folks’ home. Skip likes listening to Jesse!
| 4) Skip says his father used to attack his mother, but would never hurt him — she hid him in the bathroom with her to turn him away from the father. His mother’s father was an alcoholic. Men don’t have anger — they naturally have love. He was spoiled! He divorced when kids were young, now they’re 24 and 26. He plugs his smart phone in the lighter in his truck to listen to Jesse.
| 5) Ryan of San Antonio, TX, was a Fort Worth police officer 10 year veteran, wrongly convicted of rape in 1994, sentenced to life in prison. In 2016, he was exonerated! The young girl’s testimony. Her stepfather had been raping her!

| 2) A young girl in Washington, D.C., was jogging, and stabbed to death! Democrats to thank for homeless population. More on man Anthony Torres shaving on the train — the commuter Pete Bentivegna deleted his Twitter after negative attention for posting the videos.
KC of D.C. shouts “messy Jesse” and keeps laughing accusing Jesse of hypocrisy. Dishonest beta male! Why are you grinning like your mama! He tries to compare using the term radical homosexual to fake idea of racism.
| 3) Women’s Forum TONIGHT 7pm at BOND When you become angry as a child, you take on the identity of the person you’re angry at, and lose yourself. Go and forgive. Read From Rage to Responsibility. 800-411-BOND. Beta males = their mothers.
Back to KC grinning too much. Jesse mimics him. Harrison of somewhere says Larry Elder should set up a YouTube channel.
| 4) Christina of Sacramento, CA, noticed more noble men calling in! She talks about the Kavanaugh accuser from 37 years ago. “I understand this woman, because I was her.” She was a liberal. When something happens, they’re angry, hate their fathers and all men. She mentions girls “giving it up” on Tinder, etc. She talks about selfish parents.
| 5) Christopher of Desert Hot Springs, CA, thanks Jesse for the call and is sent a partial testimony. Fred of Maricopa, AZ, calls in at the tail. He needs to become the head!

Our 6th day of our trip. we left West Yellowstone, entered into Yellowstone and exited the south entrance passing through the John D. Rockefeller Parkway before finally entering into Grand Teton National Park. Starting from the north we reached the northern end of Jackson Lake view the mountain range in a some what parallel perspective. Continuing down the highway we reached numerous overlooks in front of the beautiful Teton mountain range. The most unique of those stops, was Mormon Row where a number of old homes and barns still stand with the Tetons set a perfect backdrop. Here you will also find the infamous Moulton Barn also. Continuing south, we finally reached the little western town of Jackson, Wyoming for dinner and a nice night our for drinks at a cowboy bar and some cowboy dancing.
Next day, we drove up to Jackson Hole Ski Resort. At the time it was closed but was a good stop to see what the hype is all about. We attempted to hike in the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve but after .5 miles our trail became covered in snow. Heading further north we made stops at the Chapel of the Transfiguration, an old community, Jenny Lake and a gravel beach before making turn back south back to Jackson for dinner.
Our last day of our whole trip, we took advantage of an early morning for a nice horseback riding venture miles out from Jackson for a last view of the Teton Mountain Range. From there, we set off For Idaho Falls, bringing us great memories of an amazing trip to two beautiful national Parks.

Impeachment trial of President Donald Trump
House Democrats prosecuting President Donald Trump's impeachment trial have started the second day of opening arguments. Democrats alleging a “corrupt scheme” by Trump involving Ukraine are trying to win over not just fidgety senators but an American public deeply divided by Trump's actions.
Prosecutors are relying on the same loops of videotaped testimony after Trump's allies in the Republican-controlled Senate blocked new witnesses.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie State of VA Community Town Hall
Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie hosted his first State of VA Community Town Hall on September 27, 2018. The secretary and eight guest panelists highlighted the activity and direction of VA since his appointment to lead the department in July.
“VA exists to make life easier for Veterans,” Wilkie recently told the crowd of Veterans at the AMVETS annual convention. “So my prime directive is customer service. When a Veteran comes in to VA, it is not up to him to get VA to say ‘yes.’ It is up to VA to give the Veteran tools.”
The secretary and panelists discussed how VA is focused on becoming the leader in customer experience and improving services to our nation’s Veterans through various initiatives such as engagement with community partners, leaders, advocates, state/county VA departments, Department of Defense, Veteran Service Organizations, and community Veterans engagement boards.
The secretary engaged Veterans directly during this webcast’s live question and answer session. All attendants were invited to submit questions during the webcast.
Panelists:
Jim Wartski – Veterans Experience Office
Dr. Richard Stone – Veterans Health Administration
Dr. Paul Lawrence – Veterans Benefits Administration
Randy Reeves – National Cemetery Administration
Alfie Alvarado-Ramos – National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs
Herman Breuer – National Association of County Veterans Service Officers
Anthony Wickham – National Guard
Stephen Austin – Army Reserve
