Bali Paradise (Indonesia) Vacation Travel Video Guide

Bali is part of the largest island kingdom in the world, the State of Indonesia. Denpasar has been the capital of Bali since 1946 and was once the seat of the homonymous principality of Badung. The small village situated around the Pemecutan Raja Palace, soon developed into a bustling city. The city’s oldest Hindu temple dates from the fourteenth century and was established by the envoy of the Majapahit Empire. At the entrance to the Monkey Forest near the town of Ubud, the famous saint monkeys welcome those who come here. The cheeky little macaques are thought to be descendants of mythical monkey king, Hanoman. Gamelan music and Legong dance are part of Bali’s culture. The movement of the body, and especially the position of the head, the play of the eyes and various facial expressions, each form the traditional elements of the dance. A journey to the centre of the island, from Sebali to Keliki, is a great experience and one not to be missed. Uphill through small villages and lush greenery, past banana trees and paddy fields, typical Balinese country life. On the main island, in Kuta, are wonderfully spacious, white sandy beaches and the warm Indian Ocean, often with waves several metres high. Here, relaxation is the order of the day and the waves attract surfers from all over the world. Bali is truly the Island of the Gods, with fantastic scenery, fascinating culture and exclusive hotels.

Denpasar, the Capital of Bali
Denpasar is the largest city and capital of the island of Bali, Indonesia. It is located in South Bali. Denpasar is a bustling, multi-cultural city and although it can seem a little intimidating the first time you visit, just do not believe those travel guides which say it has nothing to offer.
Denpasar is bristling with temples, palaces and museums and its occupants are outstandingly friendly. You will be off the beaten tourist track here, so bring lots of time for a chat with the locals and a decent map of town. You can see many of the main sights comfortably on foot. This is also a notable shopping city with options to please even the most jaded of world shoppers. Denpasar is the seat of government in Bali and is therefore home to the provincial governor's office as well as the administration of the Regency of Badung.
Denpasar is the main gateway to Bali and the city is also a hub for other cities in the Lesser Sunda Islands. Bali has various attractions. The white sandy beaches are well-known all over the island. The surfing beach is Serangan Island. Sanur beach has calmer waters and is excellent for sunbathing and kitesurfing. Ten minutes from the Airport lies the town of Kuta. Kuta is where most of the hotels, restaurants, malls, cafes, marketplaces, and spas that cater to tourists are located. In the Denpasar area, all kinds of Balinese handicrafts are represented in local shops. These include artwork, pottery, textiles, and silver. Batik cloth is sold all over Denpasar.
While arts and culture in the city of Denpasar largely synonymous with art and culture in general, although here there has been a mix of interaction with other cultures along with the arrival of tourists from all walks of life. But traditional values inspired by Hindu religious rituals still strong coloring of this city.

Bali Elephant Cave. My Indonesian Trip
Bali Elephant Cave. At the facade of the cave is a relief of various menacing creatures and demons carved right into the rock at the cave entrance. The primary figure was once thought to be an elephant, hence the nickname Elephant Cave. An extensive bathing place on the site was not excavated until the 1950s. This is the first video of the Bali series. I travelled from Delhi to Bali with Malaysia Airlines. I enjoyed the in-flight entertainment, comfortable reclining seats and relished the vegetarian food. Although it would be better if the flagship carrier of Malaysia can offer more variety of food for vegetarians. After reaching Bali, the first target was to get the Visa on arrival. Bali offers free Visa-on-Arrival for Indian citizens.
