Bali is one of the most evocative and popular tourist islands of the entire Indonesian archipelago. A visit here sparks the senses. As soon as you arrive, the intoxicating fragrance of incense and clove oil hangs in the thick tropical air. Peanuts sizzle at roadside stalls, petal-strewn offerings smolder on busy sidewalks, and traditional gamelan music jangles against the buzz of mopeds. Despite the clamor and chaos of the main tourist areas, the island is rich in natural beauty, with attractions for every kind of traveler. Surfers come for the legendary swells, hikers can trek up jungly volcanic peaks and to misty waterfalls, and cyclists can bike through lush landscapes bristling with rice terraces and traditional villages.
1 Pura Tanah Lot
About 20 kilometers northwest of Kuta, Pura Tanah Lot (Pura means temple in Balinese) is one of Bali's most iconic temples thanks to its spectacular seaside setting on a rocky islet surrounded by crashing waves. For the Balinese people, it is one of the most sacred of all the island's sea temples. (The largest and holiest Hindu temple in Bali is Pura Besakih, but recently local hagglers have been harassing visitors.) Every evening, throngs of tourists from Kuta, Legian, and Sanur find their way through a labyrinth of lanes lined by souvenir sellers to watch the sun setting behind the temple.
2 Mount Batur
Every day in Bali's predawn darkness, hundreds of visitors begin the trek up the 1,700-meter summit of Mount Batur to watch the sun rise above the lush mosaic of mist-shrouded mountains and the caldera far below. This sacred active volcano lies in Kintamani District in Bali's central highlands, about an hour's drive from Ubud, and the hike to the summit to watch the sunrise has long graced the list of top things to do in Bali.
3 Uluwatu Temple
Presiding over plunging sea cliffs above one of Bali's best surf spots, Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu) is one of the island's most famous temples, thanks to its magnificent clifftop setting. In Balinese, Ulu means tip or land's end and Watu means rock, a fitting name for the location of the temple on the Bukit Peninsula along the island's southwestern tip. Like Pura Tanah Lot, sunset is the best time to visit, when the sky and sea glow in the late afternoon light.
7 Waterbom Bali
Waterbom Bali is an action-packed waterpark, in the heart of Kuta, with something for every member of the family. Kids can splash in the swimming pools; drift down the Lazy River; or zoom down one of the many twisting water slides and rides, with names like the Python, Green Viper, and Super Bowl. Moms and dads can relax with a reflexology session, manicure or pedicure, or fish spa therapy. Restaurants and cafes cater to a range of different diets, and the grounds are landscaped with large, shady trees and beautiful tropical gardens, making this a refreshing respite from the heat on a hot tropical day.

8 Pura Ulun Danu Bratan
On a small island along the western shore of Lake Bratan, in the cool highlands of central Bali, the 17th-century Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is one of Bali's most picturesque temple complexes. Set against the imposing backdrop of Gunung Bratan, the thatched temples reflect on the lake, and when the water levels rise, they seem to float on its surface. Lake Bratan is one of Bali's main sources of irrigation and drinking water, and the temple complex is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of the sea and lakes.

Bali Paradise (Indonesia) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Bali Paradise in Indonesia.
Bali is part of the largest island kingdom in the world, the State of Indonesia. Denpasar has been the capital of Bali since 1946 and was once the seat of the homonymous principality of Badung. The small village situated around the Pemecutan Raja Palace, soon developed into a bustling city. The city’s oldest Hindu temple dates from the fourteenth century and was established by the envoy of the Majapahit Empire. At the entrance to the Monkey Forest near the town of Ubud, the famous saint monkeys welcome those who come here. The cheeky little macaques are thought to be descendants of mythical monkey king, Hanoman. Gamelan music and Legong dance are part of Bali’s culture. The movement of the body, and especially the position of the head, the play of the eyes and various facial expressions, each form the traditional elements of the dance. A journey to the centre of the island, from Sebali to Keliki, is a great experience and one not to be missed. Uphill through small villages and lush greenery, past banana trees and paddy fields, typical Balinese country life. On the main island, in Kuta, are wonderfully spacious, white sandy beaches and the warm Indian Ocean, often with waves several metres high. Here, relaxation is the order of the day and the waves attract surfers from all over the world. Bali is truly the Island of the Gods, with fantastic scenery, fascinating culture and exclusive hotels.

It includes my top things to do and places to visit in Bali and is based on my travel to Bali during the summer of 2017. I spent roughly two weeks on the island visiting Ubud, the Gili Islands, and Seminyak.
I tried to add as much helpful information as I could, which I hope provides a good idea on how to travel Bali or at least serve as a form of inspiration. Nusa Dua | Bali Tours | 2019 | Part 05. ঘুরে আসুন ইন্দোনেশিয়ার বালি থেকে (পর্ব ০৫)
Nusa Dua means two islands nusa and dua. Nusa Dua is one of the luxury tourist attractions in Bali. Located on the Bukit Peninsula region. Nusa Dua, built in the 1970s, is situated in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia. It is located 22 kilometers from Denpasar, the provincial capital of Kuta Bali. Nusa Dua is only about 30 minutes from Kuta. Nusa Dua is quiet and secluded. It is predominantly luxury hotels, beaches. Known as an enclave of large five-star resorts, it covers 350 hectares of land and encloses more than 20 resorts. . It has an incredible collection of world-class, international-chain hotels facing a pristine beachfront. You have an upmarket shopping complex, superb facilities and manicured gardens that seamlessly blend in with a luxurious 18-hole golf course, all within a short walk from your hotel. Although Nusa Dua is Bali’s most developed resort area. These range from temples, a museum housing arts and art effects from Indonesia and the Pacific, and unique natural landmarks around its scenic peninsula.
The garden in the Nusa Dua area may say, are the most beautiful gardens in Bali. When you enter the entrance gate of the Nusa Dua tourist attraction, you will not notice. That behind the garden there are five-star international standard hotels, which employ thousands of employees.
Nusa Dua Beach, or Pantai Mengiat, has clean white sand, calm waves, and is most of the time uncrowded. A 500-meter-long reef barrier protects the shore from the rough waves of the open Indian Ocean. Nusa Dua would be a perfect place to stay for a Bali family holiday, particularly with very young children, as there are fewer crowds and traffic and the beaches are calmer.

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

Life Inside Bali's Infamous Kerobokan Prison | Foreign Correspondent
To many, Bali’s Kerobokan jail is a place of creepy fascination, a repository of misery in an island playground. But what’s it really like in there?
For the first time a TV crew has obtained virtually unrestricted access to all corners of Kerobokan’s men’s prison. The Foreign Correspondent team spend a week roaming the jail, filming and interviewing prisoners and guards to capture life inside.
Yeah, this is my little piece of paradise – Bali Nine member Matthew Norman.

Arriving in Bali, Indonesia | Vlog #2 | First Travel Vlog | The Courtyard
Vlog #2
These are my first ever travel vlogs and I'm travelling with my girlfriend, Roxan; we are going to Bali, Indonesia. Unfortunately due to time constraint, we weren't able to go to the popular beaches of Bali since we were only there for 3 days.
We primarily focused on visiting the temples and other popular tourists spots. There's a lot of great beaches and islands that we haven't yet discovered and experienced in the Philippines so we would probably going to do those travel beaches vlog in my hometown first; and my beach body is still not ready (not really sure if it will be ever ready though)
We rode a four-hour airplane ride (AirAsia airlines) which was a good experience. Nothing spectacular but also not underwhelming.
One of the best experiences we had was staying in the 5-star hotel of Marriott which is the The Courtyard in Nusa Bua. The famous tourist attractions are kinda far from the hotel and we didn't find any public transportation that is cheap and easily accessible like riding a jeepney in the Philippines; instead, we hired drivers/cars that cost Rp 500,000 per day or around Php 1800/day. It's not cheap but getting a Grab car costs double.
