You would think you were in England instead of N. Cal when you first see the Tudor-style Benbow Inn. The English theme continues as you step inside the living room with its cozy fireplace and country antiques. A wonderful traditional English tea is served each afternoon. The guestrooms are all nicely decorated in a traditional style and vary in size and location on the property. At xmas time, the Benbow comes alive with wonderful decoration, music and food the whole month of December.
The Benbow has also been given the Award of Excellence by the Wine Spectator.

The year Don and I decided to spend the week of Christmas at Benbow Inn. Located in Benbow, Benbow Historic Inn is in a rural location, minutes from Benbow Inn Golf Course, adjacent to the Benbow RV park. We stayed at the RV park in our motorhome and walked over to Benbow Inn each afternoon for res and scones. Christmas Eve we enjoyed the Christmas caroling, and all of the evening festivities. Christmas Day we enjoyed the delicious Christmas dinner offered at the Inn. January 15, 2017 the Inn is being undated and remodeled, while still keeping its unique charm. An elevator is being added to the new wing making access to this historic hotel easier. We will be back next Christmas if not sooner. This is a great Inn to add to your traveling bucket list@
