Bobcat Ridge Mountain Biking (Fort Collins, Colorado)
(Valley Loop, Power Line, Ginny Trail)
Bobcat Ridge, Ginny Trail Downhill (Full version)
Mountain bike ride at Bobcat Ridge in Fort Collins, CO. This is the downhill run of the Ginny Trail, a 1,300 ft technical descent. The trail is studded with pointed granite rocks, drop offs and a few skinnies. This was my first time riding the trail and I missed the skinnies on the run (sorry about that).
The video makes it look a lot smoother and flatter than it really is. Part of that is due to the bike. A Santa Cruz Tallboy LTc with 140mm front/135mm rear with burly 29x2.35 Hans Dampf tires. Both my Fox CTD shocks were set to Descent mode and that smoothed a lot of the trail. :)
This is the full (18 minute) version of the descent. For the shorter version see
The video was taken on a GoPro Hero 3 Silver edition using a Chesty mount and a handlebar mount.
Bobcat Ridge, Ginny Trail Downhill (Short version)
Abbreviated six minute descent of the Ginny trail at Bobcat Ridge in Fort Collins, Colorado.
This was my first time riding this trail so I was a little cautious on the descent as it's quite technical. My bike is a Santa Cruz Tallboy LTc with 140mm up front and 135mm out back. The Fox CTD shocks where both on Descent settings for the run.
The video was recorded using a GoPro Hero 3 Silver edition on a chesty mount.
For the full (18 minute) descent see

It's a bit long, and it'll make you motion sick, but still fun. I realized I missed the clip with one of the fun skinny bridges.
Mountain Biking Sawmill Trail, Fort Collins Colorado | MTB POV
I decided to head straight to Lory State Park after a long day of work. Nothing really beats an evening out on a bike enjoying the sunset. This is a short video of myself going down Sawmill Trail in Fort Collins Colorado! *Going down was definitely interesting. I forgot to bleed my front brake so I was left with my back brake for the ride(I actually didn't add a front brake for a while.I think it might have made me a little faster!).
Big thanks to those who stuck through until the end of the video. I know it's kinda hard to watch with all the shakiness. But don't worry; stabilized videos coming soon!

Hiking Fort Collins, Colorado (Reservoir Ridge) [2019]
Sarah and I decided to spend the day exploring Fort Collins, and it did not disappoint! We started the day hiking Reservoir Ridge, went to dinner in Old Town, and then decided to pay $1.50 to watch the sunset from the top of a parking garage. All in all, it was a great day off!

Mountain Biking Blue Sky | Fort Collins, CO
Blue Sky is a great little trail near the Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins, CO. It's a fairly easy and fast trail that still offers a good workout and great views of the foothills. This trail continues on, connecting to Indian Summer for a 10.7 mile out and back, or Devil's Backbone for a bone jarring addition. If you can, ride this trail during a weekday as this is a popular trail for hikers and runners during weekends (as with most trail systems). You'll fork out $6 to park at the Blue Sky Trailhead Parking if you don't have a season pass, but sometimes you'll get lucky and a fellow rider will hand you their day pass as they leave. Keep the rubber side down!

Hewlett Gulch Descent
This is the descent portion of Hewlett Gulch trail which located in the Poudre Canyon north of Fort Collins, CO. The climb was worth the descent in my opinion.
Devil's Backbone, Colorado
This is just the first section of the trail. Im going to re-edit this video, cut it down, and add music to it. I just wanted to post this for shits n giggles.
