Branson Scenic Railway's Ozark Zephyr
On Friday, July 8th, 2016, the Branson Scenic Railway's Ozark Zephyr departs the downtown Branson, Missouri depot on Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad's Line heading to Arkansas. Led by GP30M #99, the consist includes domes from the former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Zephyrs. The enigine on the rear is BRSX F9PH #98, which will lead the train back into the depot on the return trip. Note the electronic horn that activates when the train approaches the grade crossing. This was installed to reduce the noise from locomotive horn blasts, which would occur up to 8 times per day!
Branson Scenic Railway's Ozark Zephyr In Hollister, MO!!!! 7/6/17
Last Thursday we caught the Branson Scenic Railway's Ozark Zephyr train next to the historic depot in downtown Hollister, MO!!!! I am really excited to catch it again! We got it leaving Branson again so #99 was leading with #98 trailing. #99 has an awesome P3! They honked a few times too! A really cool thing was there's somebody who sits in the trailing unit, so as it was passing by they blew the F unit's horn a bunch too!!! That's the first time I've seen that before! This spot was a little farther down than when we saw it last year. You can kinda see the crossing we saw it at before in the fourth pic. Anyways, I hope you guys will enjoy!

Branson Scenic Railway Ozark Zephyr With Epic Horn in Hollister, MO!!! 7/5/16
I was able to catch the Branson Scenic Railway Ozark Zephry in Hollister, MO last week!! It was BSRX No. 99 leading the train out with BSRX No. 98 trailing. No. 99 is a GP30M and No. 98 is an F9PH. The leader had an amazing Nathan P3 horn on it! The engineer quilled it a bit too! I got it at this crossing and not at the landing because those crossings have horrible Wayside Horns on them. But I hope you will enjoy!

MNA 4003 on the Ozark Zephyr
An unusual site indeed was on the point of today's Southbound Ozark Zephyr. And the surpirse was MNA (Or Missouri & Northern Arkansas) #4003. This unusual replacement was put on due to the fact that Branson Scenic Railway's ex-B&O GP-30 #99 was down for some engine
work.
In this video we catch the 4003 along with Branson Scenic's ex-B&O F9 #98 on a couple of the trips on Friday,September 23rd, 2011.
Sit back and enjoy!
