The Speyside Way - Ballindalloch to Craigellachie - Hiking and Camping in Scotland - 4k and HD Video
The Speyside Way is a 66 mile hike from Aviemore to Buckie. I did the walk in September 2019 over 4 days, camping along the way. It was a great trip, made even better by the fantastic people I met along the way. It involved a trip to the doctors and missing out my planned hike into Tomintoul.
My third day was from Ballindalloch to Craigellachie.
Distance: 19.4km
Elevation: 150m
Burning: 2,460 calories
Time Active: 4h 10m
Steps: 25,459
The Speyside Way is one of four official Long Distance Routes in Scotland (the others are the West Highland Way, the Southern Upland Way and the Great Glen Way).

Old Military Road A93 & A939 - Ultimate Driving Road
I'm on the hunt for the best driving roads in the UK (maybe even through out Europe).
Old Military Road is my first attempt... This is a road that goes straight through the Cairngorm National Park.
I turned of the A9 towards Pitlochry, drove through Pitlochry and headed through the heart of the Cairngorms, following the A93 towards Glenshee and then following the A939 until you get to the A95, from there you can join the A9 again.
This is got to be one of my favourite roads, it was a great driving experience and definitely want to go back in the summer when it's dry as it was VERY windy and wet so I couldn't drive as spirited as I hoped.
If you have any suggestions where I can go next for my hunt for the ultimate driving road then feel free to comment below.

Faindouran bothy challenge
Short movie from cycling trip to a remote Scottish bothy.
How far is the furthest bothy in Scotand? Faindouran lies 14 miles away from closest public road. You have to cycle on a relatively good track but uphill most of the time. With a heavy rucksack for an overnight stay it feels longer than 14 miles. Hard but beautiful!
With Lee, Brodie and Sofie in Moray, Scotland. We did it in July 2019, however weather conditions were much colder than summer.

Braemar Castle opens April through until October.
Since 2007, the castle has been operated by the community of Braemar on a 50 year repairing lease from Invercauld Estate. Volunteers act as guides, work in the shop, tend the garden, organise and help with Events and look after the myriad jobs that running a 17th century castle involves.

Wild Camping at Blackburn bothy in the Scottish Highlands
Some extended footage from my wild camp at Blackburn of Corrieyairack bothy last Summer during my hike of the Scottish National Trail. Got some brilliant weather that night, too nice to shut myself away in the bothy so the Banshee had to go up... besides the bothy has no sleeping platforms so I'd have to be on the floor with the mice.
Many thanks to the Mountain Bothy Association for providing these wonderful shelters. A lot of work is put into these places and it is very much appreciated. If you visit a bothy folks always remember to take your rubbish home and leave the place the way you found it.

Scottish Highlands (Part 2) Day Two - Kingussie, Baracks
We arrived at Kincraig in the dusk on 22 May 2916. KINCRAIG is a small village surrounded with lakes, forests and hills. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. On 23 May we had 7 miles walk in Kingussie area which you can see how wonderful area it is! I really enjoyed the walk and the weather was brilliant. Trekking on the hills was such enlightening experience. This area is great for wild life. Insh Marsh is a fantastic natural reserve where you can spend long time to observe wild life and watch the birds. We also saw Ospreys nesting in the tree tops, which is very rare opportunity to see them. I treasure every moment spent here.
