The Great Escape
This last game of pool play in the 2017 Futsal National League pitted Southern, who had already qualified for the top four playoff, against NFF, who needed a draw to squeeze fourth placed WaiBOP out of their playoff spot.
Although both teams had their chances, it was South who capitalised on theirs, and went into the break leading by two goals. NFF knew they needed to score early in the second to keep within reach, but instead conceded three more quick goals, to trail 5-0 as the clock wound down.
With less than 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Naji and Nikola linked up to finally post a goal for NFF. But it seemed like too little too late.
A couple of minutes later NFF made a routine change - on came Art, Sam and Denny Twigg, along with Oban Hawkins, and almost immediately Denny was on the scoreboard after a solo run through the South pack.
Off the ensuing kick-off the ball went dead at the NFF goal, and the keeper seeing Art clear up in pivot in front of the South goal, threw the ball up, and Art turned his defender and slotted the ball home.
Coach Ouadhah made an inspired call in leaving the foursome on well past their usual time allocation, and added Eden Caudwell into the mix as flying keeper. Eden had barely joined the fray when he picked up a ball from Art Twigg at close range, and fired it in behind the keeper.

I Went To New Zealand Last Week
I have the coolest boss, workmates and job EVER! Last week I was fortunate enough to travel to Auckland NZ for a work trip where we did escape rooms the entire time and travelled around the city. Naturally, it was over WAY too fast but I had the most amazing time and wanted to share some vlog footage from the trip :)

It's a new day which means we are in Auckland, New Zealand! The tour I did today was booked through Norwegian Cruise Line though most cruise lines offer this tour! It is called, DEVONPORT & NORTH SHORE and here is the tour description from NCL's website:
