Valencia Estacio del nord (The North Station)
The North Station (Spanish: Estación del Norte, Valencian: Estació del Nord) is the main railway station in Valencia, Spain. It is located in the city centre next to the Plaza de Toros de Valencia, the city's bullring, and 200m from the town hall.
The building is one of the main works of the Valencian Art Nouveau and was declared Good of Cultural Heritage in 1987. It has connections with Metrovalencia lines 3,5 and 9, and the city bus network.
This station is named for the Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España (Railways of the North of Spain), the railway company that constructed it and opened it in 1917, which was later nationalized and incorporated into RENFE, and later separated into Adif, the company that currently owns and runs it.

The North Station (Spanish: Estación del Norte, Valencian: Estació del Nord) is the main railway station in Valencia, Spain. It is located in the city centre next to the Plaza de Toros de Valencia, the city's bullring, and 200m from the town hall.
The North Railway Station is a modernist jewel of the city, with Sezesión Vienesa style, was built between 1906 and 1917 by Valencian architect Demetrio Ribes. On the front façane you can see the most typical elements of valencian culture: oranges, barracas (valencian traditional house), La Albufera (the lake), women dressed with traditional valencian dress... Inside, the decoration of the vestibule is beatiful, and then there is the iron nave over the rail roads.

Hello Hoppers! Once you get to Valencia you want to explore the city but you can also take a Renfe Train to the Coast, or the Valencia Shore, as I call it, for a beach vacation.
At the beautiful Estacio del Nord (North Station) train station (Xativa stop on the metro), I show you how I buy a ticket and take a short ride to the town of Cullera to relax by the beach for a few days.
As soon as I arrived, I got a warm welcome from some very active birds.
You'll see it is super easy to take public transportation to nearby beach towns in Valencia. I hope you find this helpful.

Estacion del Norte - Valencia
Es una estación terminal de carácter monumental y estilo modernista inaugurada en 1917 por Norte ( Compañía de los Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España) quien encargó su construcción a Demetrio Ribes uno de los arquitectos de la compañía. Destaca por su riqueza ornamental y sus grandes proporciones. En 1983 fue catalogada como Bien de Interés Cultural.6 Goza también de la consideración de estación histórica por parte de Adif.

Llegamos a Valencia a través del tren. La estación es la primera joya modernista de las muchas que conserva la ciudad, entre otros el mercado, por cierto el mayor de Europa de productos frescos.
El mercado nos lleva a la gastronomía y la paella nos lleva a la Albufera. Un concierto de Bach nos introduce en la noche culta, que coexiste con la extensa vitalidad juvenil que hace de la noche valenciana una de las más divertidas del país.
Fallas, abanicos, toros, encaje de bolillos, nos muestran los restos vivos de la tradición que conviven con la más moderna proyección arquitectónica: Foster, Calatrava, Félix Candela...Y entre todos los proyectos el despliegue espectacular de la ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias.

The market brings us to the cuisine and paella leads to the Albufera. Bach concert introduces us to the evening worship, which coexists with the large youthful vitality that makes the Valencian night one of the funniest in the country.
Fallas, fans, fights, lace, show us the living remnants of the living tradition with modern architectural design, Foster, Calatrava, Felix Candela ... And among all the projects the spectacular display of the City of Arts and Sciences.

We have 2 train stations at the moment in Valencia, so be careful and check your train ticket to know where the train is leaving from.
It could be Estacion del Norte which is this beautiful train station of this video or it could be the new train station Joachim Sorolla. Usually, the fast trains to Madrid and Barcelona leave from the new train station and the regional trains from Estacion del Norte.
In deze video laat ik je graag het treinstation, Estación del Norte van Valencia zien. Deze dateert uit 1917 en het is nog steeds in gebruik.
We hebben nu 2 treinstations in Valencia, dus wees voorzichtig en controleer je treinkaartje om te weten waar de trein vertrekt.
