Biking The Fanno Creek Trail - Portland/Beaverton Oregon - June 24, 2018
This is Biking the Fanno Creek Trail here beginning in Portland Oregon. This Trail goes from Portland to Beaverton and into Tigard. Started this at the Garden Home Recreational Center off SW Oleson Rd. Have to cross several highways and eventually the trail reconnects in Greenway Park. I stopped where the trail ends that can continue into the town of Tigard Oregon. Very nice trail that I can get onto very near my daughter home. They have in Greenway Park a Disc or Frisbee full golf course as well. Also passed a store called the Electric Lettuce! That is a Cannabis store which is now legalized in Oregon got to love that name!

Biking Portland & Springwater Corridor Trail - Portland, Oregon - August 22, 2017
This is biking the Springwater corridor trail in Portland Oregon beginning at the Sellwood Park going toward Gresham Oregon.
A section of this trail is still under repair so a Detour had to be taken. This section has some really nice bridges and gets more rural as you bike towards Gresham. Made a biker friend named Grant on the way ended the video on Flavel Street. Beautiful cool overcast morning in Portland Oregon really like this trail!

Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway
Sometimes you don't have to travel very far to feel like you're far away. It only takes a short train ride from Portland to reach the countryside surrounding the Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway, a 50-mile route that combines 30 miles of country roads with 20 miles on the car-free Banks-Vernonia State Trail. It starts at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, easily accessible by lightrail, then meanders through the towns of Forest Grove and Banks and the forest of the coast range before ending in Vernonia.

Beaverton Banks and Beyond Century Ride, August 23, 2014
This is my second Beaverton Banks and Beyond Bicycle Tour ride, held on August 23, 2014. The riding conditions were ideal and provided a perfect day to enjoy the sights and camaraderie of hundreds of riders on the Banks Vernonia Trail. Sam and I put in a few additional over-achiever miles on the return back and ended up in Gales Creek/Forest Grove. I also met Boo on the trail who signed up after Googling BBB online and signed up for the century ride after viewing my 2013 BBB YouTube video, cool!! Findings will be presented on an evaluation of two innovative bicycle facilities installed in late summer and early fall 2009 in downtown Portland aimed at providing a more separated and comfortable experience for cyclists. The SW Broadway cycle track (near PSU) and the couplet of buffered bike lanes on SW Stark and SW Oak were evaluated to understand how they are functioning on multiple levels. Each facility involved removing a motor vehicle lane by restriping to provide additional roadway space to bicyclists. The facilities were evaluated after they had been in place for approximately one year. Data collected to support this evaluation consisted of surveys of multiple user groups for each facility type, and video data collected by the City of Portland Bureau of Transportation at intersections along each of the routes to understand the facilities' impact on traffic flow, operations and user interactions.
