Oslo, Norway. It´s about 7.15 in the morning mid-November and daylight is still an hour away. It´s about 2 degrees Celsius. This walk starts on Karl Johan, the main of Oslo, and continues to the central station before following different streets towards the starting point.

The 'Pearl of the Adriatic', situated on the Dalmatian coast, became an important Mediterranean sea power from the 13th century onwards. Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Damaged again in the 1990s by armed conflict, it is now the focus of a major restoration programme coordinated by UNESCO.
Even after these disrupting life events the city recovered to an excellent historic state. Old Town and its many sights (including the well-preserved city walls along which you can walk) is one of the top attractions here. The Old Town is also famous for both of the entrance gates, St. Blaise, or Jesuit Staircase from the Game of Thrones series, seen in this walking video!

Michael Jackson's short film for Thriller was the third of three short films produced for recordings from Thriller, which continues its reign as the biggest selling album of all time with worldwide sales in excess of 105 million as of June 1, 2016 and in December 2015 became the first ever album to be awarded triple diamond status (i.e.: sales in excess of 30 million) by the RIAA for US sales alone. The Thriller single reached No. 1 in four countries in 1984, topping the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart as well as charts in Spain, France and Belgium. The song peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Thriller the first album to feature seven Top 10 singles. The Recording Industry Association of America certified Thriller Gold and Platinum on December 4, 1989.
The groundbreaking short films for the Thriller album, starting with Billie Jean, following up with Beat It and culminating with the epic, nearly 14-minute Thriller, truly expanded the possibilities of music video as art form. I wanted something that would glue you to the set, something you'd want to watch over and over, Michael wrote in his 1988 memoir Moonwalk. I wanted to be a pioneer in this relatively new medium and make the best short music movies we could make.
In the short film's extended prologue, Michael's moonlit date with his girlfriend (played by model Ola Ray) is interrupted by his sudden transformation into a howling werewolf. While the real Michael and Ola, observing the scene in a movie theater, walk home from the their date, Michael teases her by singing the verses of Thriller.

PTC This is the magnificent Alpine region around the famous Alpe d’Huez.
VO At an altitude of over fifteen hundred metres amongst a landscape of great beauty, la Chèvrerie in the village farm of Villard-Reculas is blessed to have Clément Marais as a talented cheese maker.
Every morning and evening Clément and his assistant milk his fifty goats to make several types of cheese that he cares for in his cave until ready.
The young fromager makes blue cheese, goat cheese and his favourite, a pressed tomme cheese, that everybody loves.

It’s the surrounding environment, the way of making it and the un-pasteurised milk.
TASTING
Donc ça c’est une tomme qui a huit semaines, qui est assez jeune,
So this an 8-week-old Tomme which is quite young,
qui est très douce et qui a juste un petit gout de chèvre qu’on demande.
It is sweet and has just a slight goat cheese flavour that people ask for.
PTC C’est délicieux,. I could really eat this cheese every day, especially with this view.

PTC This dessert of poached pears and vanilla ice-cream with hot chocolate sauce was created by the famous French chef, Auguste Escoffier, in 1864.
VO I first place some sugar in water with half a vanilla pod and some orange skin and boil it for 10 minutes.
Then I add 4 peeled pears and simmer for 20 minutes.
PTC The poaching of the pears can be done ahead of time.
VO Next I carefully brown some flaked almonds in a hot frying pan.
I bring some cream to the boil in a small saucepan and stir in some
cooking chocolate until smooth.
I place a scoop of quality vanilla ice-cream in a coupe. I gently place a drained pear on top, and carefully spoon a little chocolate over the top.
Lastly, I sprinkle with a few toasted flaked almonds.
The Poires Belle Hélène is a great winter dessert.
VO It is a perfect day to have lunch at the terrace of the Auberge l’Eau Blanche in Villars Reymond, a village perched at 1600 metres.
Sylvie the cook has made a stew of local sausage, called Diot, and is preparing Crozet d’Oisans, a type of pasta using potato, flour and egg. Once cooked, it is mixed with blue cheese, spinach,cream and baked until hot.
Will I have enough room for some village cheese and this great looking rhubarb tart?
My Crozet is served and I can’t imagine a better place to taste this traditional dish.
PTC Oh! What a lovely Alpe d'Huez taste experience!
VO A glass of local beer is the icing on the cake.
I will pass dessert as I had promised to visit old friends, Pascal and Corinne Bologne, who run a boulangerie in Bourg d’Oisans. Pascal makes regional patisseries including wild blueberry tartlets and my favourite, the Oisans tartlet garnished with blueberries and a caramelised mousse. Very nice!
