Challenge the rampaging rapids of Grizzly River Run. Embark on a white-water rafting adventure along the foaming torrents of the Grizzly River and up the craggy granite mountain ominously known as Grizzly Peak. The 6-minute journey through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains culminates in a thrilling, spinning plunge down a runaway river.
The Rapids
The Grizzly River Rafting Company has converted a former mining operation into a natural wonderland for thrill-seeking rafters. Your voyage begins placidly enough, as your 8-person raft gently drifts past long-forgotten remnants of the California gold rush.
Soon, however, you're whisked up an approximately 275-foot-long conveyor belt and deposited into the foaming waters atop Grizzly Peak. Amid the stunning natural vistas and lush pine groves, a growing sense of unease builds as the river speeds up and you dart in and out of ancient caverns, shoot down unexpected gorges, and wind your way around sharp turns.
Worse, all the while, you know the inevitable... what goes up must come down.
Grizzly Peak
Your adventure takes you up the iconic grizzly bear shaped mountain named Grizzly Peak. How did such a natural wonder come to be? According to ancient legend, the peak was once a giant bear named Oo-soo'-ma-te, whom A-ha-le the Coyote transformed into stone to watch over and protect the land.
Amidst the raging water of the Grizzly River and the howling wind shooting through the rocky caves, the great bear's spirit can reportedly still be heard roaring at those who dare to intrude upon the sacred mountain.
Are you brave enough to discover if the legend is true?
Will I Get Wet?
Expect to get wet, and sometimes quite so, on your unpredictable journey along the Grizzly River. Grizzly River Run is a great way to cool down during a warm day at Disney California Adventure Park.
If you'd prefer to stay as dry as possible, souvenir rain ponchos are available for sale at the adjacent Rushin' River Outfitters shop.

Grizzly River Run is a river rafting ride at Disney's California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It is similar to Kali River Rapids in Disney's Animal Kingdom and the Shipwreck Rapids ride in SeaWorld. The attraction's name comes from Grizzly Peak, the bear shaped mountain that the rapids flow around. It was built by Intamin AG.
The raft trip around Grizzly Peak begins with the rafts being lifted up a wooden conveyor that runs under leaking pipes that spray water on the riders. Upon reaching the top of the conveyor, the rafts are dropped into the water to descend the peak, passing through a cave and bumping against a log jam. The climax of the ride drops the rafts down into a geyser field. The final drop has a unique element in that the rafts are spun as they begin their descent.
As with all flume-type rides, there must be a location to store or drain the water in the upper sections of the flumes when the pumps are shut down. The original plan was to create a large, underground basin beneath Grizzly Peak to hold water. This would have required costly excavation and construction. Upon looking at the final layout of California Adventure, it was noticed that the Pacific Wharf area of the park had a water element meant to simulate a tidal basin. The tidal basin is located across a walkway from Grizzly River Run and became the catch basin for water from the raft ride. The rise and fall of water in the tidal basin serves the dual purpose of providing a location to store water and being a scenic element that simulates a rising and falling tide.
The ride is one of three in American Disney Parks taking the names of former Opryland USA attractions. A similar ride at the now-defunct park in Nashville, Tennessee was called the Grizzly River Rampage.
This attraction is detached from the Disney's Fastpass system, meaning, one can obtain two Fastpasses (including Grizzly River Run) within a single two-hour period of time.

Disney's California Adventure, California - Goofy's Sky School HD (2015)
Disney California Adventure, commonly referred to as California Adventure, is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks and Resorts division. The 72-acre (29 ha) park is themed after the history and culture of the state of California. The park opened in 2001, and it is the second of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort complex, after Disneyland Park.
The concept of a theme park dedicated to California arose from a meeting of Disney executives in 1995, following the cancellation of the WestCOT project. Construction of the park began in 1998, and was completed by early 2001. Disney initially projected high attendance rates at the new park, but a series of preview openings held in January 2001 led to negative reviews, and after the park officially opened to the public on February 8, 2001, the company's attendance projections were never met. Disney spent the next several years incrementally adding new rides, shows, and attractions, and implementing other promotions aimed at boosting attendance. In 2007, Disney announced a major expansion of the park as well as a major overhaul of a significant portion of the park. Construction lasted for five years and was completed in stages, culminating with the opening of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land in June 2012.
According to the Themed Entertainment Association, the park hosted approximately 8.5 million guests in 2013, making it the 10th-most visited theme park in the world that year.
Goofy's Sky School (formerly Mulholland Madness) is a steel wild mouse roller coaster at the Paradise Pier section of Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. The ride is based on Disney's animated cartoon Goofy's Glider. The rethemed attraction opened on July 1, 2011.

California Screamin' - California Adventure - Anaheim, California - Complete Ride
Start screaming as your tear through the air on this totally tubular thrill ride! It might look like a turn-of-the-century coaster, but this state-of-the-art steel superstructure is ready to rock you in the 21st century.
Buckle up in a coaster car with up to 3 other passengers and enjoy an easy jaunt to the launch site. It's the last quiet moment you have before you hear:
Launch in five, four, three, two, ONE!
Blast up the steep incline to an altitude of almost 120 feet, then plunge downward at about 55 miles per hour! Catapult past the waves splashing against the rock jetty of Paradise Bay before you swoop, swirl, dip and curl. Shoot into the sky blue scream tube and then twist and turn until you reach a brief lull at the peak. Catch your breath for half a second before diving into the loop-de-loop that winds 360 degrees around the blazing sunburst...
Reminiscent of the coasters built before the 1930s, California Screamin' rips around Paradise Pier on steel tracks that cover a distance of almost 1-1/8 miles. Thousands of steel towers, struts and beams comprise the gleaming white structure that coils around other attractions on the Pier.

Soarin' Over California-Disney's California Aventure
This ride is at Disneys California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California. Imagine you are flying in a hang glider. Now picture yourself soaring from one end to the other of the California. We enjoy this awe-inspiring scenic tour of the Golden State, ending with a bird's eye view of the Disneyland Resort itself. Its a travelog film where we sat in ski-lift-type benches underneath a giant wing, which raised into the air in front of a giant, IMAX-style screen. Our feet dangled as we flew over various sights around California, sniffing the oranges and sea air and feeling the breeze as we fly by
California Screamin Train Mount (HD POV) California Adventure
This here is the ****** BEST ****** POSSIBLE ****** MOUNTED ****** video or just in general the ****** BEST ****** video of California Screamin at Disney's California Adventureso enjoy.
This is video where my camera was mounted to the front of the train on California Screamin at Disney's California Adventure. I had done one of these before but it wasn't as good because the last one I didnt get it mounted quick enough and the ride had already started. Also my mount before was just a big so I did have to hold it for the whole ride. Also you heard me say hold this for the ride and people thought I was just holding something the whole ride which seemed like it wasn't mounted....... BLAH BLAH BLAH...... ANYWAYS........
This was done on Febuary 29, 2012 to celebrate One More Disney Day for Leap Year. This is also after the refurb of California Screamin which when they redid the loop its more narrower now and not as round and the forces are much greater then befor as they do not slow you down before the loop or at least they didnt when I went on it.
