Walking in HAMBURG / Germany - HafenCity to St. Pauli - 4K 60fps (UHD)
On this cold and rainy day we start our walk near the near the St. Nicholas' Church and walk to the HafenCity with the Elbphilharmonie concert hall.
This tour continues the walk from the centre and Speicherstadt on the same day ( or in the sun one day later (
It's a windy day so we return to the city and go up the stairs from the Landungsbrücken to St. Pauli.
On this weekday it's fairly quiet giving the famous St. Pauli district a special, almost deserted vibe. We explore some side streets and backs of buildings and end the walk going up and down the Reeperbahn finishing at the Beatles statue.

Der HafenCity RiverBus in Hamburg ist ein Amphibienfahrzeug für Stadtrundfahrten zu Land und zu Wasser. Dabei taucht er spektakulär in die Elbe ein. Die Aufnahmen entstanden am 4.4.2017 mit mehreren Kameras bei insgesamt drei Ein-/Ausfahrten des Busses.

Highly complex variety in a central location
While the northern Überseeboulevard is developing increasingly urban qualities, the realization of the southern area in the heart of HafenCity is progressing successfully. Überseequartier will become HafenCity's most metropolitan and visitor-intensive quarter. Here alone, more than 6,000 jobs are created. 23 percent are retail space, plus catering, entertainment, office space, a vertical integrated cruise terminal and a wide variety of hotel uses with around 1,150 rooms and more than 1,200 apartments. The basis of the Überseequartier is an urban planning concept by internationally renowned architects based on the urban design developed by Trojan Trojan + Partner. The public spaces and the areas around the Magdeburger Hafen will be realized according to a concept by Beth Galí with her office BB + GG arquitectes (Barcelona).

Near the busy Port of Hamburg, historic vessels moored in Sandtor harbor contrast with the upscale residential buildings and hip cafes by the water. HafenCity combines tradition and modernity in a unique symbiosis. A true architectural and cultural delight! Attractions such as Miniatur Wunderland, the Elbphilharmonie and the Speicherstadt draw tourists in.
For centuries, the Port of Hamburg has shaped the development of the Hanseatic city. Shipyards and docks, terminals and ships from around the world are just as much as part of Hamburg as the Elbe, Alster and Jungfernstieg. The Sandtorkai was opened on 11 August 1866 as the most modern port of its time. After more than 100 years, HafenCity is now taking its place. Work began in 2003 and so far half of the buildings envisaged in the master plan have been completed.
Although it is still considered the largest building site in Europe, new life has arrived in HafenCity: besides the office and apartment buildings, you can linger in the many cafés and restaurants. What is equally interesting and remains the most famous construction in the HafenCity and therefore the city as a whole is the Elbphilharmonie.
