The Cedar Theater: A Century of Memories
History is not truly history until it becomes a tool for learning, a seed from which reflection and appreciation can grow. This is possible only when the essence of days past are recorded and preserved for future generations to study and enjoy.
To that end, this 15-minutes documentary short was produced by Shane Egan Studios for the Historic Cedar Theatre, in conjunction with Frontier Homestead State Park.
The documentary was produced to mark the 100-year anniversary of the construction of a structure that has been at the heart of downtown Cedar City, and in the hearts of the members of its community, for generations.

The Cedar Theater (now known as the Historic Cedar Theatre) has been a fixture of downtown Cedar City, Utah for generations. In celebration and commemoration of the building's centennial year, a short documentary has been produced which will debut on November 14, 2014 as part of our Century of Memories celebration taking place on November 14 -15.

A homeowner snapped this shot of Jimmie Cox diving into murky water to try and fix the problem. Inside Edition connected Cox with Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs, who commended the plumber for his dedication to his dirty job. The Prescott St section of the new Greenway is just behind the 413 N Cedar Street property.
How will the Greenway benefit neighborhoods in and around downtown?
The Greenway will connect more than a dozen neighborhoods in and around downtown Greensboro. It will provide an additional amenity for people who live in those neighborhoods, and also make it easier for them to get to other points in downtown. The Greenway will also boost the social connectedness of those neighborhoods by offering them a common space where residents will have more chances to meet one another and interact.
Economic Development
Trails and greenways have a well-established record of positively influencing community and economic development. For example: Studies in Colorado and Ohio found that properties adjacent to a local greenway and trail were valued 22 percent and 12 percent, respectively, higher than properties farther away from those trails. Trails in downtown Winter Garden, Fla., and Dunedin, Fla., are credited with helping drive up occupancy rates and revitalize the downtown areas. A study of businesses along the Missouri River State Trail found that 20 percent of those surveyed cited the trail as influencing their decision to locate near to it.

Martz Wholesale Cedar Video of Cam West Dev. Remodel
Home in Kirkland WA, Remodeled beautifully by Cam West Development. The Cedar Materials, on the exterior are all clear and used on the smooth side and the Cedar Suppliers are Martz Wholesale Cedar, and Cedar Suppliers. The siding is a 1/2 x 4 CVG Smooth face primed all four sides Finger Joint clapboard cedar. The window trims us various sizes of Finger Joint Cedar. The home is a 1914 original, remodeled and is a restored Mansion. The Clapboard cedar siding is a natural choice for this home. With clapboard you are using the whole board that is not beveled, and it gives you a sharp clean edge, and it also gives you 15/16 of an inch were they lap. This is good because it cuts down on the splitting that you can get with nailing through a feather tip of bevel siding. The Finger Joint in this video is a very good use of a resource of Canadian old growth, in the past this stock was wasted, now using the finger joint process, it is used for this beautiful product, that will last with maintenance for more than 100 years. This product is so strong that it actually tends to pull the framing that has a crown in it, straight. The stock is close to half the price of a 4 clear bevel, and is better, and comes in all 20' lengths. Thanks for watching! (be sure to click on the HD button)
