Prague Travel Guide - Fairytale Capital of the Czech Republic | 90+ Countries With 3 Kids
'It's easy to fall in love among the winding cobblestone streets and snow-covered castles of Prague” - Dana Newman
The capital of the Czech republic is most definitely a hidden gem in Central Europe which is unfairly shadowed by more famous cities on the oldest continent. Prague might not be as big as London or Paris, but its old charm and its interesting history speak loudly about how this city has been able to jump to modern times with elegance and wit.
Prague, or the Golden City, as many call it, has seen a great number of kings and queens, and it has transformed from a monarchy to an empire going from independence to occupation, totalitarianism and liberation. The prominent landmarks are the shining castle on the top of the hill and its river Vltava that inspired one of its most beloved composers to write a masterpiece.
Another name used for Prague is City of a Hundred Spires, and this city is filled with many bridges, domes, palaces, and spires that convince tourists around the world to come and see this beautiful mix of Gothic, Renaissance, baroque, and art nouveau buildings. However in more recent years a great deal of construction in has transformed it into a more modern city, with state-of-the art public buildings, an underground railway, and a newly designed highway system.

First Solo Trip in Prague: Highlights | Czech Republic
Highlights of my first solo trip to Prague, Czech Republic. I got to Prague from Munich via Busabout Europe, which is a hop-on hop-off network of coaches that take you all over Europe (and which I highly recommend, especially for first time solo travelers!).
This travel vlog covers a few walking tours I did with Good Tours Prague. On my first day there, my roommate and I did a free city tour with them in the morning, and then we paid for a tour of Prague Castle in the afternoon. That's actually how I ended up meeting the friends that I hung out with for the rest of my time in Prague! On the last day, we went to the Naplavka Farmer's Market. By the way, both walking tours and Busabout are great way to meet people and make friends if you're traveling solo, like I was!

PRAGUE - Feb 2019 (ft. my sister) | Joy Sintos
Hi friend!
How's life? So on the second week of February, I got to explore the gorgeous city of Prague (after how many years of absolutely wanting to go) with my sister. The airport was an hour away from our accommodation but it didn't matter since their public transport, ranging from underground trains, buses, and tram lines, were on point. Some places we visited were close enough to each other; you could walk it and some were further but if you get the 3-day transport ticket, you're all good; you just have to hop on and hop off. Czech Koruna is their currency. Some things were expensive (i.e. clothes at souvenir shops), most of the food were reasonably priced and others were amazingly cheap (like drinks ;) ) The city itself is quite chill, a lot of tourists bustling at the famous attractions (like any other country) and language is not a bother since most of the people you meet will speak in English.
Highly recommend and I really really hope you get to visit there too!
With love,
J.

driver view Viking Cruises Prague by Night bus tour of Prague, Czech Republic (1 of 3)
This is part 1 of 3 showing a good part of the Viking Cruises Prague by Night optional tour of Prague, CZ on July 3, 2017. My camcorder mysteriously quit working toward the end during the best part when it was really dark, but these 3 videos show a good amount of the trip. Really regret the malfunction at the end--still no explanation at all. Had to disconnect battery from camcorder and re-install and it has worked fine since. This video includes an abbreviated portion of our visit to the Zizkov TV Tower which occurred during this tour. For more views of that, I have posted several videos under that name by itself.
