INDIANA THEATRE (Indianapolis) - Indiana Repertory Theatre - 4K Video
Indiana Theatre is a multi-use performing arts venue in downtown Indianapolis. In 1927, it was a movie palace and ballroom. In 1979, U.S. National Register of Historic Places added it as a landmark.Today it is the home of the Indiana Repertory Theatre. The building is a six stories on a concrete frame. Its white terra cotta facade is a curving triangular arch with churrigueresque framing that fills the central bay above the original marquee installed almost a century ago. Inside, the auditorium features an elaborate plaster ornamentation paying homage to Spanish Baroque style. The uppermost level houses the Indiana Roof Ballroom with an elliptical dome and sky effects. Definitely something to visit when in Indianapolis!

CELEBRATING THE RESISTANCE AGAINST THE TRUMP/PENCE REGIME THE PHOTOS OF ROBERT MITCHELL
This art installation/performance features Robert Mitchell's photos from the past year's protests and demonstrations that are part of an ongoing outcry against the current presidential administration and their policies. Projecting photos from the artists' travels to local, state, and federal protests, this a celebration of past resistance and encouragement for continuing activism. The format combines the photographs of Robert Mitchell with projectionist skills of Sarah Mitchell to create a mobile display, reversing the role of the protest documentarian--instead of taking pictures of demonstrators on the streets for future exhibition, this project gives them back in a public display using the streets as its canvas.
On January 20th, we will be celebrating the anniversary of the resistance against the Trump/Pence regime by taking to the streets of Bloomington, Indiana. We will be projecting photographs spanning numerous protests, marches and actions over the past year around the city. We invite you to join us, whether near or far, in this celebration. Because there is still so much work to be done, we must rally together and support one another as we continue to fight for peace and justice for all.
